Location was ok.

Cons:

Hotel and rooms are extremely dated.

Rooms are very basic.

Cost per night does not feel like value for money especially given the fact a basic fridge is not provided.

This is a one night stay as a layover tbh.

Pros:

First of all, this is my 1st visit to Sandakan after my last visit which was 20 years ago. I find the front office was friendly, welcoming & very accommodative. The room was good for a night stay. Breakfast was also very good, since have a wide selection. Thank you.

Cons:

Only when we went out for a walk, their was a guy sitting across the hotel, who was holding a long parang. We had to make a different route to walk then. Mainly for us ladies is our safety. The location is fine.

Gutes Hotel in Sandakan
Pros:

Das Zimmer war Top. Es war etwas hellhörig, ansonsten war alles super. Das Frühstück morgens war sehr umfangreich. Und auch sonst konnte man gut in dem Restaurant essen.
Das Hotel liegt direkt am Heritage Walk und nur 5 Minuten vom Ufer entfernt.

Price, room, food, all is okay.
Pros:

Exactly at city centre. Walking distance to Harbour Mall and shops. Convenient for travellers.

Cons:

The parking space is at the back of the hotel. Very small space. Not that convenient to those who bring car. But you have no choice because that’s only safe place to keep your car. It’s risky to park around the shop nearby.
