Fantastic location, comfortable room
Pros:

Fantastic location, walking distance to town and all.the bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Comfortable room with great view of Mount Etna. Nice to have the use of a pool.

Cons:

Breakfast was good but not much choice of fresh fruit.

Would stay here again if we return.
Pros:

Beautiful facility and view. A short walk to the main area in Taormina. Pool, parking and breakfast on site. Staff was all very helpful with a few non hotel related issues that arose.

Cons:

Nothing negative to say. Great experience here.

Wonderful stay at Park Hotel and overall in Taormina.
Pros:

The staff more than exceeded my expectations. My luggage did not arrive with us at the airport. The staff called the airport for us every day and were so helpful to us.
Breakfast was great and a good variety. Great view from our patio, and a beautiful pool. Walking distance to many areas of Taormina

Cons:

They cannot do anything about it, but you have to understand the roads in most of Sicilian towns and cities - if you are driving it is very challenging.

Could do better
Pros:

The best feature of this hotel wss the swimming pool area and the view.
Salvatore the night barman was very friendly and helpful. Maurizio the maintainance man also.

Cons:

The man on reception was quite sullen and reluctantly dealt with issues.
Our air con was largely inaffective. We complained the first evening and through the night it improved but then was tempremental throughout the rest of the stay sometimes working sometimes not.
The lift from the street was also tempremental, sometimes working, sometimes not.
The pool towels offered were tatty.
The decor of the hotel is tired and needs doing up. And the blue plastic vinyl furniture in the bedrooms reminds me of furniture found in psychiatric in patient units in the UK.
The branding of the hotel toiletries is very tacky too. This has the ability to be a grand hotel but they need to decorate it with more style and taste.

Alcuni dettagli importanti, come il bidè che era quasi staccato dal muro , e la tenda della finestra sporca e abbiamo trovato un asciugamano che sembrava fosse utilizzata

A wonderful setting with views of Mt Etna, history and shopping.
Pros:

Our room in the Taormina Park Hotel was comfortable and had a clear view of Mt Etna. The hotel is steps away from the public park with the quirky, crumbling but attractive buildings. There were a couple of restaurants nearby and more in the main tourist areas up above. The Greek/roman amphitheater and the public gardens appear to be the main attractions in town besides the shopping and the unique setting.
The hotel has a great terrace with a large pool and a wonderful view. Parking is available, charged per day.

Cons:

I can’t say anything negative but since I’m not into shopping and was not overwhelmed by the amphitheater, I can’t say it was worth the price to stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel , wonderful location and easy walking into town.
Pros:

The location was amazing, easy to walk into town , far reaching views over the coastline from our balcony which also had loungers and table , chairs for our stay. Thoroughly enjoyed Taormina and this hotel, lovely pool area and fantastic breakfast, would highly recommend this hotel

Erinomainen sijainti – kylä on aivan vieressä, ja joka ikinen ravintola, jossa kävimme, oli loistava
Pros:

Sijainti oli erinomainen – lyhyt kävelymatka keskustaan ja upea näkymä merelle. Hotellin allasalue on todella viihtyisiä, ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Aamiainen oli italialainen eli ei ehkä suomalaiselle runsain, mutta silti hyvä ja riittävä – tuoreet croissantit ja espresso toivat mukavasti paikallista tunnelmaa.

Cons:

Wi‑Fi voisi olla hieman nopeampi, ja ilmastointi piti välillä ääntä. Muuten kaikki toimi hyvin – pieniä yksityiskohtia lukuun ottamatta erinomainen kokemus.

Good location but the hotel itself is far from a 4-star property, would not recommend

The location was excellent, with the town centre only a short walk away. The views were also a highlight of the stay. The breakfast staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We do not normally leave negative reviews, but after our stay we felt it was important to share our experience.

The location is excellent and only a short walk from the town centre, but unfortunately the hotel itself was a significant disappointment. We knew from booking that this was an older hotel and were actually looking forward to some traditional character and charm. However the reality was far more dated and worn than we had anticipated from the photos and description online. Many areas felt neglected rather than charming, and the overall condition of the property did not match our expectations.

We stayed in one of the higher category rooms on the 4th floor, yet there was visible damp damage on the ceiling, a musty smell and décor that felt very tired. Several facilities, including the gym and spa, were also not functioning properly during our stay.

What disappointed us most was the lack of response when we raised our concerns. We brought these issues to the hotel’s attention early in our stay and were hoping for some form of solution or communication, but received neither.

The breakfast staff were friendly and pleasant throughout, however this was not our general experience with the rest of the hotel team.

The views and location are undoubtedly the hotel’s strongest assets. If you are simply looking for a place in a convenient location, it may suit your needs. However based on its 4 star rating and online presentation, we expected a higher standard and left feeling that the hotel has not kept pace with what they showcase themselves to be.

Comfy stay in Taormina with great views and pool.
Pros:

Excellent location and value. Walkable to Taormina main areas and sites.
Room upgrade had an exceptional views, with 2 nice balconies. Mt Etna visible on the clearer days. Sea views as well.
Nice pool.
Parking on site fee a charge.
Clean room.

Cons:

Decor a bit dated, but charming enough.
Breakfast was ok. Coffee below expectations.
Biggest complaint was next door neighbor. Woman was a chain smoker. Constant smoking degraded balcony time. Avoided her presence as must as possible.

Pros:

The location and the view from the balcony of our room were excellent. Also private parking is nice to have, otherwise it would be very difficult because of the location

Cons:

Everything is very old. I think it is time to spend some money to renovate the hotel. There was bad smell in the room coming from the toilette.
