Homely and wholesome.
Pros:

Staff were lovely, Alan sorted out a messed up booking for me. Thanks 👍
There is a good mix of locals and residents in the bar. Local Cairngorm Brewery beers are superb.
Food was very reasonably priced and good, honest pub grub.
Room was decent, quiet with a modern bathroom.

Cons:

Duvet too thick for me. I always bring my own lighter one.
Common areas could do with a spruce up.

Ben Mohr Hotel offers accommodation above a family-run pub and is a convenient base for exploring the area. Our recently refurbished room was very clean and comfortable with a good bathroom.

The on-site parking was a real bonus after a long day of exploring and made everything easy. You can dine at the pub or wander down the main street for dinner.

Good-value accommodation for a short stay.

Cons:

Noise from the hallways and doors closing transfers easily into the rooms but other than that you wouldn’t know there was a pub below you.

Nettes Hotel in einer schönen Kleinstadt
Pros:

Das Hotel ist zentral in Grantown gelegen. Frühstück und alle anderen Mahlzeiten kann man im hoteleigenen Restaurant einnehmen. Der Parkplatz war groß und direkt am Haus.

Hat alles gepasst. Parkplätze vor der Tür oder ums Eck auf öffentlichen Platz.
Frühstück oder Abendessen möglich im Pup darunter und sehr lecker.Preis Leistung ok!

Cons:

Vorsicht alte Fenster... evtl besser nicht öffnen ; )
