Good value and a good night's sleep.
Pros:

Breakfast good value. The wee restaurant was the same. Normal portion sized, not as big as you might expect, but that suited us fine. Beds comfortable and we slept great even in the heat. Hotel had put a fan in the room which was good.

Cons:

Very short staffed when we stayed, so had to wait a bit longer when there were queries, but overall didn't take away from the positives.

Clean and comfortable.
Pros:

The staff were friendly when we checked in. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The shower didn't work and we couldn't find staff at reception in the morning to ask them to help us.

Impossible to sleep owing to LOUD function underneath our room. Why weren't we warned about this when booking???
Yes, it finished at midnight, but we weren't even given that bit of reassurance before going to bed.

Gute Lage für Nationalpark und Highlandgames in Tomintoul

Lage, bequeme Betten, sehr freundlicher und lustiger Herr beim Empfang mit Tipps. Für unsere Bedürfnisse: Zugang zu den Highlandgames in Tomintoul perfekt.

Cons:

Das Bad war schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen in einem der beiden Zimmer.. Eine Party, da Wochenende und Pub im Haus war störend, aber sie ging nur bis ca 23 Uhr. Das Essen im Restaurant war einfach.
