Property Description

AAA Approved Diamond hotel three blocks from Yellowstone's West Entrance, with well-appointed rooms, free Wi-Fi, a heated indoor swimming pool featuring Dive-In Movies, and a hot tub. Some rooms have fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. Every room is non-smoking.

Dear Sir: we stayed in your hotel for 4 nights and checked out this morning. We reported an accident of a fall in your bathtub due to the bath mat that was not properly secured in the tub. We got an acknowledgment from your front office that the situation was being reviewed and would be followed-up. However, we didn’t hear anything from anyone- not even to check if everything was okay. We didn’t see any measures taken to ensure the accident doesn’t happen again. In fact, the bathmat was still on the tub. As we have reported via your text number, my shoulder and arm are still sore and will check if I need to get an Xray when I get home. It has limited the physical activities I can do for the rest of our stay there. Please advise on what you can do for this inconvenience and physical injury incurred in your hotel. Thank you!

Fantastic!
Pros:

Warm, opening and friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable and even had books about Yellowstone which were handy. The bathroom had items which needed to shower. The hotel had a pool and game room, plus free laundry.

Cons:

No breakfast, however there is a McDonald’s a few minutes walk. So it’s all good!

Pros:

Great location for our needs. Close to the bear and wolf rescue sanctuary, which was a great visit. Close to town and all local amenities. Found a great Mexican restaurant for food. The receptionist was extremely helpful and professional. Explained all the facilities on offer, provided items for laundry and assisted when the washer was not working. Complimentary beverages and cookies available in the lobby was a nice touch. Fire pit outside was cosy and had comfy seating. Room was very big with 2 x queen beds. We both slept very well. Issue with AC resolved quickly. Bathroom was bright amd clean with the most amazing hot shower, which was needed after a long drive! Really nice hotel, comfortable chairs in reception area to relax. Cannot fault this stay at all.

Cons:

No complaints about the hotel. Some inconsiderately loud guests early morning!

Great choice to explore westside of the Park (Norris Geyser basin, midway Geyser, old faithful etc).
Pros:

Location is great, very close to the west entrance of the Park. When entering, there are 4 lanes, and during busy time mid morning, took 20 minutes from the town to get to the entrance gate (mid September, 2026) vs. 3 minutes if traffic is light. Room is clean, spacious, with generous supplies. We particularly liked the indoor swimming pool with spa tub. There are 3 floors with an elevator. It will take ~ 1hr to drive to Norris, and about 1h 15 min to old faithful. Longer if there is a traffic jam due to volume, or due to wildlife roaming near the road.

Cons:

No on-site restaurant. There is a MacDonalds within walking distance.

Overall a good hotel. Need to monitor front desk clerks better, though.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and other than the very rude front desk clerk on Sunday afternoon 9/6/26 at 1:00pm, the other staff was friendly and helpful. She rudely told us we would pay $25 per hour if we checked in before 4:00pm. This is no where stated in the description. Does it cost them to let someone have their room early? No, unless the rooms were not cleaned but she did not checkl Her attitude was rude and dismissive. We were not paying her an extra $75 to check in before 4:00pm either.

Cons:

Also had a difficult time adjusting the thermastat in the room but it wasn't a huge deal. The Keurig in the room was not functioning,
