Frequent visitor and favorite Boise stay!
Pros:

Small but accommodating staff is always welcoming and helpful. Food is excellent and breakfast is above and beyond.

Cons:

Clean, Comfortable, Great Location
Pros:

We really liked the location. It was fairly quiet, but within walking distance to restaurants and the green belt. We loved the complimentary use of bikes for riding along the green belt. It was only a few blocks to get to the trail and was a great way to end the day. Staff was very friendly. I greatly enjoyed eating off "real" plates with actual silverware for breakfast. I loved the aesthetic-room just looked "put together" and I love the idea of refurbishing an older hotel. Room size was nice and the mattress was great.

Can't think of a thing!

Pros:

Fantastic redone travel lodge. Not on the center, but close enough. And free town bikes if you want them.

Cons:

There are newer, nicer hotels so their pricing is maybe a tad high… but I do love The Modern.

Pros:

all are minimal - was told it was a unique and interesting hotel.....not so much..... nice people but minimal facilities and probably not worh the price. BTW - the reservation desk connnected to website tried to book for $300 - we got same room from Booking.com for $230

Great location and nice stay in Boise
Pros:

The Modern Hotel was a nice surprise. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and you can use the hotel’s bikes free of charge to explore the city. The location was perfect, would definitely recommend!

Cons:

Breakfast was a little small. In the afternoon, the outdoors terrace can only be used by bar guests.

Great hotel!
Pros:

Pros:

The place is very neat and well located, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Huge bathroom and shower, all squeaky clean. Breakfast is done exactly the way one needs it in the morning - you pick up what you want from a brief menu card and start eating minutes later, saving tons of precious time navigating the usual huge Swedish buffets. Well planned and done!

Cons:

A bit of street and highway noise comes at night; still, the overall room comfort and space is really nice.
