Location was the only good thing!

Cons:

 This hotel is nothing but SCAMMERS and FRAUDSTERS! Stayed here for 2 nights. I am always respectable when I stay in a hotel, to the point of I actually pull off the sheets and the underlay that I have slept on and pile all together with dirty towels etc so its easier for house keeping. Everything is clean and kept in order. I was suprised that after I checked out i was charged my security deposit. I went back to the hotel and the Indian lady (owner) pretended she couldn't understand English so she brought the house keeper out to explain why. He said that we had "stained" the mattress protector. I was in disbelief. He then forwarded on to go and find this mattress protector which was so old the plastic was crumbling off it and it did have a stain on it, but it certainly was not from me as it wasn't what I had seen or touched. Housekeeper then went on to get my details to forward onto the manager and would get back to me in 30 mins. 2 hours later I still hadnt heard from them. So I called back in as I wanted this resolved before leaving town. This time the Indian husband came out. He was like yes we have your details the manager is away and wont be back till later. I told him I wanted this resolved, they have 48 hours to return the deposit, and if they wont i need a receipt for the damages. 24 hours later I still haven't heard from them, so I call. The manager is not here, they are not providing me with any receipts or taking care of this matter, THIS IS DEFINATLY GOING MUCH FURTHER as I see by the reviews this happens all the time with them. DISGUSTING PEOPLE!

We had a coffee spill that went over me and my 2 yr old, we used a towel to clean ourselves and the front desk wanted us to go to them for the cleanup. We had hot coffee on us. They then charged 50.00 dollars for damages. 50.00 for a towel. I suppose I could have run up to the office with no shirt on and no clothes on my baby and then possibly sued for the burn from the coffee?

The beds are stained and smell funny, found be bugs after removing sheets. This really rude indian lady calls me mid day on the lake, saying I have 10 minutes to get to the room to remove my service animals (emotional support for my disabled wife) because theyre not allowed to be left unattended, when I try to explain they are emotional support animals, she raises her voice and talks over you. I tell her I want the refund for the 2nd day shes not letting me use, and she says no refunds. Ok. Ill dispute the charge and pay nothing, sounds good to me. Salty away from this place! They run this scam with everyone, wait until you're out and about, threaten to take your animals, dont refund your unused days, and call the cops on you. STAY AWAY

Cheap, dirty hotel, close to attractions and allows pets.
Pros:

Location was great. Ability to have my dog was great. Affordable price.

Cons:

Dirty room. The toilet needed to be cleaned. Could visibly see hair balls around the room and visible dust over most surfaces.
