Lindner Hotel Antwerp, part of JdV by Hyatt

Trotz der Größe des Hotels hat das Personal es geschafft eine familiäre Atmosphäre herzustellen. Besonders beim Frühstück wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Es gab eine sehr große und vor allem leckere Auswahl.
Das Zimmer war super sauber und sehr ruhig.
Die Lage war gut.

We always stay here when I'm Antwerp. Great location and big rooms. Very comfortable of traveling with a dog.

Food at the hotel was lovely. Service was very good. Arthur Igor was an excellent waiter. The only criticism is that I would have liked a bigger steak!

Top locatie

Our car broke down in Antwerp and we were stranded. Luckily the Lindner had rooms available so we went there and I'm glad we did. The hotel is stylish and air conditioned in all the public areas, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, even the wifi could keep up witth my son's multiple tabs!
The air conditioning in the room was struggling but it was 37°C outside so quite understandable.
The bathroom had a bath with shower over and was a decent size (no lock on the door but not a problem for us). It did get rather steamy in there after a tepid shower, so leave your clean outfit hanging outside!

The buffet breakfast is worth the money and has an excellent selection, despite the main dining facilities undergoing renovation (we had breakfast in the conference facilities). Lots of choice for a wide range of dietary needs from vegan to low carb or 'sod it, we're on holiday'. 😂
Fresh mint and ginger were available for tea and the tea selection was extensive!

The hotel is a stone's throw from the frankly stunning Antwerp Central station (you have a goodly walk to the platforms from the nearest entrance, be warned if you need to buy tickets ahead of departure) and is fairly good for accessibility (visually impaired folk might struggle with the lack of contrast but the doors are wide enough for wheelchair access). I personally appreciated the additional lighting in the room. I use a walking stick and found everything to be quite manageable, but I tend to travel with a companion just in case.

The views from the rooms are superb and Antwerp is right on the doorstep. Local amenities like Albert Heijn and restaurants are a five-minute walk away, and of course there's a jeweller's on every street!

We would very much like to visit again and explore more of the city, it's a great location to head out from and has all the comforts you expect from a good hotel (little details like a fridge, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities are often overlooked but to me they're essential!).
After our disastrous journey, we had a wonderful stay, albeit only for one night.

There are additional facilities in the hotel that we never even looked at (gym, leisure, the bar area is in the foyer but we only passed through), and going by what we saw elsewhere, they're likely to be just as clean and inviting. Maybe next time!

Je vergeet nooit de check-in wanneer Alexia dit verzorgt, vriendelijk en de juffrouw weet waar mee ze bezig is, TOP! gezellige bar en nette kamer en ruime badkamer. Het ontbijt is lekker en we hebben een diner gehad en dit was terug lekker.

I had a wonderful stay here. My room was very large with a very comfy bed and plenty of space for me to put my luggage without tripping over it. It was also very quiet, and I slept well. The staff were very helpful and kind. The location was also great, just steps from the central station and a 15-30 minute walk from any attraction I wanted to see. Breakfast was also delicious, with good vegan options and everything from healthy to indulgent options. I would absolutely stay here again.
