Please note that when booking Half-Board supplements during Easter, Christmas, New Year's Eve and Festa da Flor (Madeira Flower Festival), guests must pay an added fee for a Gala Dinner or Special Dinner.

Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden will contact guests with further information. For guests booking Double or Twin Rooms, Studios and Apartments, please note that the spa is not included in the room rates and has an extra cost of EUR 35,00 per day.

Please also note that guests below 16 years old are not allowed to use the Spa. Please note that the Suite with Spa Access cannot accommodate extra beds.

Massages and holistic therapies are available at the Spa center and the indoor heated pool is included in the spa entrance fee during our Spa center opening hours. The outdoor pool water is at ambient temperature.

The Spa entrance Fee includes the free use of the Spa facilities : bathrobe, slippers, towels, locker, tea, water, indoor pool, ice fountain, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, sensation shower, relaxation area and fitness room table tennis, outdoor swimming pool, deck chairs and umbrellas. Treatments are not included.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Unglaublicher Garten, gutes Frühstück, schöne Aussicht auf das Meer, geräumige Zimmer

Cons:

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber trotzdem Charme.
Rundherum wäre es möglich, die Anlage etwas sauberer zu halten.

Um pequeno paraíso, dentro de outro paraíso que é a ilha da Madeira. Recomendo!
Pros:

O lugar é encantador, jardim muito bem cuidado e acordamos ao som dos passarinhos. Paisagem fantástica e muito perto do Funchal. O staff é 5 estrelas, sempre pronto ajudar e a facilitar a estadia. Lugar limpo e confortável.

Cons:

Com uma manutenção mais cuidada, certos aspetos do mobiliário dos quartos poderia ser recuperado sem ser substituído. Silicones, apertar suporte de toalhas, etc pequenas reparações
Apesar disso, o quarto era confortável, bem decorado e com uma vista maravilhosa e de áreas generosas.

Pros:

We liked a lot the staff and their willingness to help. They made a conscious effort to help us by providing guidance on what to do in the few days we were there. They even sent a complimentary present to my friend as it was her birthday!

Cons:

A small thing that could be improved in the rooms would be to include AC or a ceiling fan. The weather is quite warm and sometimes in the night was hard to sleep. As the windows do not have mosquito nets it was also not possible to sleep with them opened.

Room comforts( or lack of) left much to be desired.
Pros:

It is in a beautiful setting. The grounds themselves are a botanical garden. And the breakfast is very nicely done. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Cons:

The beautiful surroundings could not make up for the disappointing room experience . My patio door was stuck, my refrigerator wasn’t working well. Even with the fan in the room, it was still warm. The spa area is very spacious, but also needs a complete renovation and lastly, most of the tours operate from Funchal. I rented a car and trying to get into and out of the parking lot is very dicey, but also a lot of the tours will not pick you up at this hotel. In your room, you have one all purpose, hair shampoo, body cleanser, conditioner, and it looks like a half used old plastic shampoo bottle. More something I expected at a low budget motel. Also, the room had a insta hot water pot, instant decaf coffee, tea, no sugars, no cream, very low quality.

Sehr angenehmer Ort zum Runterkommen/Entspannen
Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück mit vielen frischen Zutaten, sehr großes Zimmer mit Balkon und hervorragendem Ausblick auf Garten und Meer.

Cons:

Das Bad war zwar sehr groß aber ein bisschen veraltet (Dusche in der Badewanne)

Die Lage mit dem wunderschönen Garten und Aussicht aufs mehr hat uns sehr gefallen.

Der wunderschöne Garten.
Der Parkservice war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Die Suite war wohl sehr gross, hatte aber nicht so eine wohlige Atmosphäre. Die Sessel waren sehr unbequem. Das Licht für mich war am Abend unzureichend trotz Stehlampe. Um lesen zu können half auch die kleine Leselampe wenig. Auf dem Balkon fehlte ein Sonnenschirm. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für uns zu wenig abwechslungsreich. Persönlich schätze ich mehr Früchte, anstatt Salate und Desserts. Die Fleischqualität war nicht zufriedenstellend.

Wunderschöner botanischer Garten und leckeres vielfältiges Frühstück

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und dadurch ungemütlich, Preis-Leistung passt daher leider nicht
