I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was extremely noisy throughout the night because it was located directly on the roadside. The traffic noise was clearly audible inside the room, even with the window closed, making it very difficult to sleep. I ended up being awake for most of the night.
The room was also extremely hot, and there was no air conditioning. A small fan was provided, but it was not working properly and did very little to cool the room. If I opened the window for ventilation, the traffic noise became unbearable. If I kept the window closed, the room was simply too hot to sleep comfortably.
I also noticed that there was no fridge in the room, which was disappointing, especially considering the price of €163 for one night.
Overall, I do not feel that the room was worth the price. The combination of excessive noise, lack of air conditioning, a faulty fan, and lack of basic facilities made the stay very uncomfortable. I would not consider this room good value for €163 per night.

Bequemes Bett, sauber, alles da was man benötigt.
Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich, große Auswahl.

Cons:

Leider sehr laut schließende Türen, dadurch sehr unruhig. Das stört den Schlaf, wenn andere Gäste Nachts in ihre Zimmer gehen. Man hört leider auch das Stühlerücken und duschen anderer Gäste. Egal zu welcher Uhrzeit. Leider hat unser Zimmer nach Essen Würstchen)gerochen. Beim Lüften wurde es noch schlimmer.

The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfasts were delicious really good.
Great band playing trad music on the Wednesday evening was a wonderful surprise.

An enjoyable stay
Pros:

A warm and friendly welcome, although a suburb of Dublin there’s plenty of regular public transport, within a short walk from the location, and it’s a great location to attend a Shamrock Rovers game
