The shower area has dirty grouting which needs to be renewed, The pillows were a bit hard

Very good stay in a proper hotel.
Pros:

Friendly well-trained staff. Very clean. Very spacious restaurant - no crowding at breakfast. Nice park opposite the hotel by the river. Excellent quality breakfast.

Cons:

Our room wasn’t huge but it was fine. Other rooms are larger. The buildings are modern and a bit soulless, but they have another hotel 200 yards away which is the full Victorian architectural experience.

I’ve stayed a few times at this hotel and I would rebook
Pros:

Location so good and a lovely hotel.

Cons:

I had booked an afternoon tea then unfortunately had to cancel as had other arrangements. The staff phoned me to ask where I was. I had confirmation of cancellation however the staff member kept banging on about how we hadn’t turned up although both her and I had the same message cancelling it 2 weeks prior and even when checking in still brought it up. I’m not sure what she wanted from me. It was very frustrating. However hotel lovely and rest of staff especially the night shift receptionist so helpful.

Very nice stay at The Park Hotel
Pros:

I stayed, again, at The Park Hotel for two nights in a single room. It was actually quite large and the bed was bigger than I'd expected. There was a nice bathroom and the room was well appointed.

Overall the hotel is very nice, I didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Plenty of parking and 5-10 minute walk to the town center.

Modern well appointment room with free parking
Pros:

Modern beautiful room, great staff, free parking, lift, aircon, fridge. Our room had a large window overlooking the park, beautiful outlook. Excellent stay.

Family weekend trip
Pros:

We recently stayed here as a family of 4 for a long weekend.

The hotel location was great to explore surrounding areas, and plenty of restaurants and bars within 5 mins walk from the hotel.

The rooms were clean and there was plenty of space in the family room and the bathroom was equally very big with a separate bath tub and shower.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

They make it easy
Pros:

Extremely well run hotel in a quiet location, a short walk to the town centre.Good amount of parking with ev charging. Excellent standard throughout - cleanliness, service, breakfast and restaurant. Good value as well, exceeded expectations in all areas.

Fantastic hotel in the perfect location
Pros:

Stayed at the Park for 3 nights on a family trip. Amazing hotel with lovely staff. Very clean and comfortable. Having access to the pool at the sister hotel was really appreciated too
