Staff went out of their way to assist me, as I have a mobility handicap, opening doors, etc. Their help was much appreciated after a tiring journey.
Everyone was friendly, polite and hospitable as a friend might be.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big and clean.
My stay was too short. Wish I could've stayed a bit longer.

Was not able to have a cold shower (as it was over 30 degrees. No coffee& only a small desk fan
Poor service in the resturant, wrong dinner and slow.
Poor service at breakfast, staff were disorganised and I had to wait 25 mins for breakfast
loads of car parking, Good breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meals reasonable but a bit limited.
Room was a bit hot the first night but then we got the balance right with the fan on and the windows open.
The staff were really helpful and professional, they went out of their way to assist in anyway they could.
Room was spotless and it was nice to be able to open the windows instead of using the aircon. Having said that the aircon was very good and quiet which was lovely. There is no pool at the hotel but you can use the pool at their sister hotel down the road.
Food at breakfast is hot and cooked to order, whilst dinner menu was not large, it was good, hot and tasty.
We hadn't come across that Hotel chain before but would recommend the hotel to our friends and relatives if they are heading to north Devon
At this time of year (out of school time)the hotel had a lot of elderly visitors which may not suit some young people. It didn't bother us at all. Albeit not the fault of the hotel in anyway but the doors to the room are heavy and some of the clientelle let the doors bang closed which, if youre not an early riser can be annoying. A little disappointing that the bar closed earlier than normal (especially as the World Cup matches were on )
The room in the Annex (Garden Court Rooms) was very nice

Great location for a business trip to Accord UK. Hotel location good for walks around the local area. Breakfast excellent.
The bedroom (308) in the Garden Room area wasn't great. Not particularly clean and the walls were paper thin with conversations in adjacent easily heard.
