I love staying at The Bridge and stay here at least once a month for work. The couple that run it are amazing and make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. I stayed again last night and thought it deserved a review after staying there for 18 months. It’s consistently great. Breakfast, food and drinks are fabulous. The staff are brilliant. Always clean and comfortable, never any issues

The room was large and comfortable. Nice quality bed linen. A very well stocked mini bar.
Very good breakfast.
We paid extra for a room with a view of the river. However the water that we could see was almost stagnant and a horrible green slimey colour and consistency. This was like a tributary to the Thames. Certainly not worth paying an extra £40 for 🙄🙄
The bathroom was quite small ot like its picture on the web site. A nice shower but very hard not to drench the floor when showering due to no closing door as it were.
The sink plug hole and overflow outlet were dirty.

Ich habe gebucht, eine Buchungsbestätigung schriftlich erhalten, den Zimmerpreis bezahlt (nachweisbar), habe eine Taxifahrt mit ca. GBP 70 bezahlt und trotzdem habe ich kein Zimmer bekommen - überbucht!
This is as perfect a hotel as you could get. They think of everything, including all the little extra bits that make a difference. The place is stunning, the food great and the staff lovely.
