A very disappointing experience. Wouldn’t stay there again and wouldn’t recommend.

Noise from the pool party that ran late into the night which impacted our sleep. We understood the pool party was 1pm to 6pm. We weren’t told in advance or at check it that a private party was happening the next day which meant we couldn’t use the pool or outdoor space. Music was so loud you couldn’t hear music on headphones or tv. Windows are not sound proof. We were told to use another hotel if we wanted to use a pool. We were told management would reach out - they haven’t. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Great Hotel and Location
Pros:

Location is GREAT! Downtown atmosphere is awesome and being close to the ballpak (PETCO) is great.Staff is very kind and service is excellent.

Cons:

Hotel needs to provide parking as complimentary. When there are ballgames and you have a rental car and go out to do stuff when you comeback you don't have anywhere to park. Near streets and avenues are closed to traffic until the game ends.

Pros:

Wonderful staff - everyone helpful and when an issue was encountered, it was resolved quickly. Great location for San Diego stay.

Cons:

Actual hours of terrace was not same as posted online when planning. It was closed due to "pool parties" over weekend and this was one of the features we really liked about the property. Just felt like nonguests were more valued than hotel guests in this case.

Ausreichend
Pros:

Sehr zentral gelegen, direkt im Gaslamp Quartier. Zimmer sind grosszügig mit grossem Badezimmer und ausreichend Stauraum. Mein Zimmer war im 12. Stock (nach einer Anfrage für einen Wechsel) und damit sehr ruhig.

Cons:

- Eine Kaution von 150$ pro Nacht, bei 11 Übernachtungen zu verlangen, und trotz meiner Nachfrage nach einem tieferen Depot abzulehnen (Reception hat beim „Manager“ angefragt), grenzt an eine Frechheit. Ebenfalls hat das HardRock Hotel auch nach mehr als 8 Tagen seit meiner Abreise den Betrag von 1650$ auf meiner Kreditkarte noch immer nicht freigegeben, während andere Hotels, mit einer späteren Abreise, die Kaution längst freigegeben haben.

- Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist knapp i.O. - Zimmer sind bereits relativ alt, Dusche / Wasserdruck mangelhaft und wenn man ein Zimmer in einem der unteren Stockwerke hat, hört man (typischerweise in den USA) aufgrund schlechter Isolation den Lärm von der Strasse.

- Valet Parking für 70$ pro Nacht ist masslos überrissen - leider jedoch üblich in San Diego -> Bessere Alternative ist das direkt ggü. liegende Parkhaus 6th and K Parkade, welches rund 15$ pro Nacht kostet, jedoch während Baseball Spielen in der Petco Arena geschlossen wird.

Amazing stay in San Diego!
Pros:

Very good location, clean and well decorated rooms, always good smell in lobby, close to everywhere you may want to visit. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Vale parking was too expensive. It is better idea to find a spot ( by spothero etc.) and self parking around the hotel.
