Palazzo Ravizza, top plek om te verblijven in Siena
Pros:

Locatie, prachtig gebouw en geweldig terras met uitzicht over de Toscaanse heuvels.

Cons:

Het ontbijt vonden we voor een 4-sterren restaurant wat aan de karige kant.

I didn't have the experience I was expecting based on the reviews I read.
Pros:

The garden is lovely, the hotel is well-located, the breakfast is very nice as is the late afternoon bar and bartender.

Cons:

I chose the hotel because so many gave it a high rating. This was only an average hotel. I was told I'd have a garden view and I did not. They offered to move me the next day, but who wants to unpack again? This hotel (or at least the room I had) is in need of updating and paint. When I arrived it had an overwhelming smell of bleach and yet the bathroom was not clean.

Very nice selection for breakfast; can't beat the views from the terrace.

Cons:

Arriving at night, parking was hard to find and staff person was impatient about giving better directions. Location is a bit of distance from the main square and most restaurants, but nearby Osteria Del Gatto was welcoming and good.
