All you need at a fair price.
Pros:

This was clean, well-located and quiet.
The staff are very professional and helpful.
There was a revolving fan which was nice to keep the air moving.

Good location and friendly receptionists... no elevator!
Pros:

The staff at Reception were friendly and welcoming. They were quick to respond to any requests. The hotel is just a little way from Deansgate—about 10 minutes on foot—which makes it easy to get to shops and sights.

Cons:

There isn't an elevator! I was on the top floor (2nd) and had a 20 kilo suitcase to carry all the way up to my room and down again when I left. I'd have welcomed a warning, at the least!
With this new fashion of "we only clean your room if you hang the 'Please service my room' tag on your door" it's hard to say how they were on cleanliness. The room was fine when I moved in and on Day 2 I met the cleaner in the corridor and let him in. Otherwise I don't know. I'm reluctant to leave my room in the morning with a label on the door saying I'll be out all day. It seems like a good way to invite anyone who wants to, to try and enter my room, and the doorlock was pretty basic.

Don’t pay for breakfast if you have to stay here
Pros:

Not a lot to say that’s positive but the locations good

Cons:

Quite run down, no lift/elevator, room was so hot, there was a fan on the wall blowing the hot air around. Breakfast was absolutely shocking, “DO NOT PAY FOR THIS” bacon was a strange colour and patchy, sausage must have cost about 5pence to produce, the beans were cold and the hash brown was warm and dripping in oil, it was vile, neither me or my partner managed a couple of bites other than the toast, the staff could see we hadn’t touched it yet never came over to ask how the food was or if there was a problem and we were the only people in there.

Cons:

Full details taken at check in desk, Name, address & full bank details required for check in. Seems unnecessary unless staying on a stag/hen do.
