The AC not working and room not comfortable

Front desk quality of some personel members need to be addressed.

I stayed for work as solo traveller and had access to the club which I highly recommend. The staff were so lovely there. and remembered you and your preferences. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and peaceful. The area is great and in the heart of the city lots of nice walks to Canton Tower and various shopping areas.
I did go for breakfast downstairs one day (not in the club) and that felt too busy and a little underwhelming. For the pool you need to wear a swimming cap but these are not provided free of charge which I felt should be available for paying guests if they want to enforce this. It's the first time I have seen that at a hotel.
After 15 years of staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou, I can confidently say this was my best stay yet.
I spent 16 nights at the hotel with multiple rooms, and the level of service was impeccable throughout. What truly sets this property apart is the people. From pre-arrival to departure, everything was handled flawlessly.
A special thank you to Dennis Liang and Freya for ensuring all my requests were perfectly arranged in advance. Nora at the Front Desk and Samuel, Night Manager, were consistently professional and attentive. Yanniz and Eirene were always helpful and welcoming.
Louis, Manager of Rooms, deserves recognition for always assigning my preferred room and making sure it was set exactly how I like it—including the air conditioning, which makes a big difference during long stays. The Reservations team also did an excellent job managing multiple bookings seamlessly.
I would also like to acknowledge General Manager Matthias Vogt for his visible leadership and presence throughout the hotel.
The spa team, especially Jodie and Doris, made sure I could relax during a busy trip.
With so many new hotels opening in Guangzhou, I’m often asked why I continue to return here—the answer is simple: the service and the people are second to none.

Todo, en primer lugar la atención, la belleza, los detalles, el nivel de cuidado que tienen. Este es uno de los mejores Ritz en los que he estado. Definitivamente no te encontrarás con ninguna sorpresa, por que están preocupados de todos los detalles. El personal es maravilloso. Estoy enamorada especialmente de este Ritz.

Only the location is good
The hotel is very old, only the lobby decor is ok. the room was old, the wash basin is blocked, the room has the unpleasant old room smell. The biggest problem is the air conditioner, the exhaust system is unacceptably loud and is in the room wardrobe, this also caused leaking in the bathroom roof. The breakfast has lots of different choice but the food quality is not good and nothing really tasty. You can have much better breakfast outside and it’s much cheaper! Compare to other Ritz Carlton, this one is the worst! In China, there is lots of newly build good hotel, only half of this price. this is definitely not the one you should choose, no matter you are for business or family travel. For the leaking bathroom roof, we have to use all our towels to clean it.
