The breakfast was incredible - so many options, so much fresh produce and would fill you for the day! The beds were very very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing
No bookmarks on the pillow, a pity
I had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Xi’an.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help, making me feel very welcome throughout my stay.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I look forward to staying at Shangri-La Xi’an again on my next visit. Thank you to the entire team for your wonderful hospitality.
Breakfast, Gym,Pool, Staff,
Breakfast, pool and gym.
It is a bit far from the big tourist sites.
Very nice hotel with a very good breakfast. They also did not forget our anniversary and they gave us a gift when cehcking-out
The swimming pool
Angel Li, the ever-attentive Front Office Manager, went above and beyond—calmly guiding me through topping up my WeChat wallet and patiently walking me through the DiDi app.
My recent visit to Shangri-La Xian was my worst experience among the Shangri-La hotel chain. Coordination between the Front Office and Housekeeping was poorly managed. Although I informed the Front Office Manager, Ms. Angel, about my repeated requests for turn-down service and extra soft pillows during my stay, she made no serious effort to ensure these requests were fulfilled.
She frequently apologized and gave excuses, saying the hotel was busy and would attend to it as soon as possible. However, when I checked further, the occupancy rate was only moderate. As a department head, her leadership and coordination skills were far below what I expected from a 5-star hotel.
Beautiful hotel and the room had plenty amenities perfect for anyone who may have forgotten.
Very strong smoke smell throughout the floor I stayed on despite a sign saying it was no smoking floor.
Very luxurious for a reasonable price.
Serious Air Conditioning problems. If you need a cooler room to sleep at night the central AC is not up to it.
