Not worth the money I paid.
Pros:

Only liked the reception staff, friendly and always wiling to help

Cons:

The property was dirty and extremely dusty. The cleaning staff don’t take pride in what they do. I’ve stayed at the residence houses before, this was first class experience and clean. The lodge is dirty. I will not come back or even recommend to anyone to book and stay there

Pros:

We really enjoyed the breakfasts that were on offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was well stocked with everything needed for our stay.

Pretty but experience was underwhelming

Picturesque setting and good location.
Staff were friendly.

Cons:

The room was above reception in a maisonette but it was also below other rooms. Noise echoed down the staircase so we heard when people walked around, closed doors etc.
There's construction on the property so most of the facilities are affected like the pool, restaurant and wine tasting area. This should have been factored into the price as I don't think it's fair to pay for spaces we couldn't access or spaces that were compromised.
We received a code for the main gate but the guards weren't always consistent with accepting the code when we took ubers in and out of the property. On the first night, they tried to call reception when we showed them the code.
A fire alarm went off at night, which was stressful. We found out everything was okay only after we called reception. They did not communicate or check in with guests.
Breakfast options were limited.

The scenery was wonderful, the view of the golf course. The breakfast selection was wonderful.

Cons:

1.0 Smells in the room when you walk in. This was due to long term none use of showers which allowed sewage smell in the room. Running the shower before guests check in resolves the problem.
2.0 The lodge does not provide transport to the Golf Clubhouse???!!!!!!! Am sure an arrangement can be made with the golf course for them to collect players from the lodge.

My favourite place to stay in Stellenbosch!
Pros:

This is my second time staying here and I love how centrally located it is. Having the clubhouse for lunches and dinners and a great breakfast spot is wonderful. The staff are also very helpful and welcoming.
