My favourite place to stay in Stellenbosch!
Pros:

This is my second time staying here and I love how centrally located it is. Having the clubhouse for lunches and dinners and a great breakfast spot is wonderful. The staff are also very helpful and welcoming.

Good for one of two nights
Pros:

Beautiful setting, spacious units.
Clean

Cons:

Our bedroom was down a flight of stairs, no one to assist with two large golf bag carriers and luggage.
Beds are not comfortable.
The Golf country club is extremely difficult to get hold of to book a round of golf. Staff at the proshop are not helpful and friendly.

Great location, needs some attention to detail.
Pros:

There was no cuttlery and very limited crockery. So after getting take away dinners from De Zalze clubhouse we had nothing to eat it with. Could do with a plate or 2 and a maybe some knives and forks. Should maybe arrange that the clubhouse can deliver food to the lodge as well. Also the shower head for such nice accomodation is terrible. Zero pressure almost, this needs urgent improvement. Location is amazing and breakfast was very nice. Staff are also very friendly and efficient. It served our needs well and will come back.

Pros:

The room is very well set up and comfortable with a great views. The close proximity to the cellar and the clubhouse is great.

Cons:

The price paid per night is quite excessive for what you get in return. There was construction work which made it very noisy. The beds and especially pillows need a bit of an upgrade. Beds are hard and the pillows are very soft. The breakfast options are very limited. Staff did not seem to really want to engage with the guests, perhaps too much work. The assistant at reception was great though.

Pros:

Excellent location and surroundings. Stellar golf course. Very good cleaning service

Cons:

Pillows - 2 provided, both soft. The bathrooms are a bit dated and showerhead has its best times behind it

The location was amazing with great views day and night. An amazing place to stay in

Amenities like the golf course was the cherry on top and it was jogger friendly and peaceful and great to stay there
