If you want air conditioning, and a real 5-star hotel experience, look somewhere else.
Pros:

The hotel itself was nice but the room was not. We had no real air conditioning and apparently the staff has heard this complaint more than a few times. For the $300+ we spent per night, I expected to be able to get the room to whatever temperature I wanted. It stayed at 24c the entire time. Also, we had bugs running around the bathroom and water pipes that banged when we turned on the shower.

Pros:

Fantastisk service och bemötande. Perfekt läge. Utmärkt frukost med stor variation, extra plus för att man även fick beställa a’la carte. Bästa äggröran jag ätit. Vi bodde bara en natt, gick ut på kvällen och när vi kom hem igen var det städat, påfyllt med vatten, kakor och choklad. Älskade allt med detta hotellet och kommer definitivt att åka tillbaka.

Bra lokalisering. Veldig stilt og rolig. Fantastisk god frokost, og man kunne bestille fra meny. Roof top med basseng, spa og bar. Meget gode senger.

It was clean and fancy, the breakfast was super good

Cons:

The AC broke and they gave us a 40 euro loud fan for the room, we only stayed one night so moving us to a room with a working AC would have been better. Instead the fan kept us up all night because it was so hot we couldn't keep it off. we didn't get a welcome drink like everyone else. The reception didn't answer the phone at all. The room service food (only french fries) took 40 minutes to arrive and we had to call and ask again for it.

No customer service, the worst hotel stay

Good location in the centre of Alicante

Cons:

This is my worst hotel stay, everything went wrong from start to finish
When I arrived the person in charge of greeting guests treated me in a condescending manner bordering insulting
I requested an early check in and they couldn’t give me even 15 minutes
They gave me room 124 which has very poor natural lighting and had a broken phone
I was then moved to room 224, which had walls covered in dust and they forgot to give me a code for WiFi
On the day of my departure I requested late check out, they answered no before even asking how late , when I said 1 hour, they reluctantly agreed but they forgot to update their booking system so my key stopped working
Also they were unable to call me a taxi
This made the stay extremely unpleasant from beginning to end

Chill in the middle of bustle
Pros:

Beautiful property in the perfect location- walk to everything. My Junior suite was huge and perfect. I visited in July & my room was nice and cool in part because of heavy blackout drapes. Staff was attentive and brought little gifts each night- chocolate, dessert, charcuterie etc. a nice touch! I thoroughly enjoyed the small spa; an excellent massage one day & facial the next. The pool area is small and busy, but I always found a shaded lounger and when there were only direct sun seats available in the bar area, a fellow guest invited me to sit at his shaded table. I wasn’t overwhelmed by the breakfast, so unless it is included in your stay, consider venturing out to one of the many nearby cafes. Highly recommend.
