Categories

Cleanliness
6.5
Mixed comments: several guests praised clean rooms, but there are notable negatives including reports of a roach, a large bug in a room, and complaints about lobby smell and inconsistent housekeeping.
Service
7
Mixed service feedback: multiple mentions of friendly/helpful staff and staff who kept lost items, but several strong complaints about rudeness and unmet requests for towels/blankets.
Location
9
Consistently praised for location and easy access (close to highway, venue, I-95, and local eateries); convenience is a major positive, though some note highway noise.
Room Quality
6.5
Rooms are generally described as comfortable and roomy by many, but multiple notes of dated furnishings, wear-and-tear, occasional odors, clogged sink and weak shower pressure reduce the score.
Amenities
5.5
Amenities are a weakness: the pool is repeatedly reported closed (some for long periods), exercise room access issues, limited parking during remodel, though coin laundry is a useful positive.
Value for Money
9
Many reviewers specifically call the hotel affordable and good value for the area or for an overnight stay, highlighting price and included breakfast as positives.
Food and Beverage
7
Breakfast received mixed but generally decent feedback: some guests enjoyed hot eggs and variety, while others found the selection limited and wished for items like yogurt and bananas.
Overall Experience
9.5
Overall impressions trend positive: many guests found the stay comfortable, convenient and reasonable for the price with repeat-stay intent, despite some cleanliness, amenity and service issues.

It was functional … regrettably, the last night we killed a roach in our room.
Pros:

The property is dated and could use investment … when you arrive you are confronted with the need that the pool is closed for maintenance indefinitely … and you had to ask for the key to the exercise room as it was connected to the pool.

Cons:

It was the closest with any availability for this weekend.
