Great location, comfortable stay.
Pros:

This is the second time Ive stayed here, after getting off the ship. The location is wonderful, just opposite the Harpa Concert Hall. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and Reykjavik is great.

Goede locatie, maar geen toegang tot hotelbar.
Pros:

Onze kamer was op de 7e verdieping, dus we hadden een mooi uitzicht over de baai. Het is op loopafstand van het centrum, wat ideaal is. Parkeren kan dichtbij het hotel.

Cons:

Dit hotel geboekt vanwege de hotelbar. Echter toen ik naar de bar wilde, mocht ik niet binnen, omdat ze aan het capaciteit zaten. Ook al ben ik een hotelgast, ik mocht niet naar binnen. Heel erg slecht.

Pros:

Die Lage von dem Hotel ist perfekt. Man läuft zwei Minuten und hat die Harpa Music Hall gleich vor sich. Kommt man aus dem Hotel und geht links die Straße hoch, ist man sofort in der Innenstadt. Geht man rechts raus, hat man die Promenade mit einem tollen Blick auf die Berge. Für Leute die öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nutzten möchten ist eine Bushaltestelle nur fünf Gehminuten entfernt. Wenn man den Drop off, hop on Service fur den Weg zum und vom Flughafen nutzten möchte, hat man drei Minuten entfernt, direkt bei Harpa die Bushaltestelle Nummer 5, wo man abgesetzt oder abgeholt werden kann.
Zum Hotel selber. Sehr modern, sauber und alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Man hat eine Bar in der obersten Etage, wo man morgens auch Frühstücken gehen kann, mit einem tollen Blick aufs Wasser. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein. Alles da was man brauchte und jeden Tag, beim angebotenen Obst Beispielsweise, wechselndes Angebot. Bitte nicht wundern, wenn ihr warmes Wasser benutzt wird ein wenig komisch riechen. Das liegt nicht an schlechtem Wasser oder Leitungen, es handelt sich um Schwefel. Da in Island viel mit thermischer Wärme gearbeitet wird, wird natürlich auch warmes schwefelhaltiges Wasser genutzt. Dieses wird natürlich soweit aufbereitet, dass es nicht gesundheitsschädlich ist. Also keine Sorge, alles. Ist in Ordnung. Würde dieses Hotel wieder Buchen.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts negatives nur einen Verbesserungsvorschlag. Die Duschtür würde ich tauschen durch eine feste Duschwand, da man das Bad doch sehr nass macht trotz der halbrunden beweglichen Duschscheibe. Und Leute die mit viel Klamotten reisen, es gibt keinen Schrank nur drei Ablagefächer und einiges Kleiderbügel. Aber auch damit kann man leben.

Great location and staff but showing wear
Pros:

Location is great on water, easy walking to downtown shopping and restaurants.
Breakfast was good and had great view.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable

Cons:

Room was very small, hotel needs some TLC…rusty drains, chipped cabinets and furniture
