Seems poor value for money

Great location. Rooftop sky bar.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely knew their stuff and did their best to enhance your stay. Rooms well cleaned.

Cons:

For the price it was like a youth hostel. Definitely not what we would consider 4*. All very basic.

Paid extra for good room. It had a sea view which was lovely but the space was tiny.

The bathroom was very small and the shower wasn’t great. Towels were smaller than we are used to.

The breakfast was just all right. Fruit was not prepped into a fruit salad but roughly chopped with skin on. You had to pay extra for any coffee other than a pour from a heated coffee dispenser.

You had to pay to use the spa area so we didn’t.

Maybe this is four star in Iceland but it wouldn’t get 2* in Europe. Given the price we thought we would get a lot more. Iceland is definitely expensive overall, so maybe this is normal. We are seasoned travellers and were a bit disappointed.

Hotel in guter Lage aber mit älteren Standards

Innenstadtlage am Meer gegenüber gegenüber Musikhalle Harpa. Erste Station des Stadtrundfahrt Busses HopOn HopOff.
Personal an der Rezeption sehr nett und höflich.

Cons:

Kleine Zimmer, eher Charakter eines Einzelzimmers , Badezimmerdusche muss eingeklappt werden, damit im Badezimmer vor dem Becken mehr Bewegungsspielraum besteht.Kaum Sitzmöglichkeit im Zimmer. Frühstück mit guter Aussicht von der 8. Etage aber sehr einfach präsentiert. Kaffee von der Maschine muss sofort per Kreditkarte bezahlt werden, ansonsten Kaffee von der Großkanne.
Zimmerpreis an diesem Wochenende ungewöhnlich hoch wegen großer Nachfrage aufgrund des Kulturfestivals. Kein Restaurant für Lunch und Dinner vorhanden.

Wirklich perfekte Lage. Saubere Zimmer, nicht riesig, aber für ein paar Tage völlig in Ordnung. Freundliche und hilfsber

Kleine kamer, derde bed lag niet lekker ( het tweepersoonsbed was wel prima). En het was super warm op de kamer en kon de thermostaat niet lager draaien. Moet er wel bij zeggen dat wij dit niet gemeld hebben, wellicht was er anders wat aan te doen geweest

The property was good if expensive. Watch out for breakfast not being included.

Cons:

The venue did not mention that the roads around the property would be closed on our scheduled day of departure due to the annual Marathon. The staff seemed uninformed and were not at all helpful in answering questions including giving completely inaccurate information.
