Helpful and friendly staff, an excellent breakfast with a wonderful panoramic view. The room is very good, and the hotel’s location is perfect.
There was nothing like that at all.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, walking distance to everything in the city centre. The room was clean comfortable with a fantastic view out over the sea.
The walls were a little thin and the basin was cracked.
The location was fantastic Harbor right out front and the Harpa concert Hall across the street for meeting, many tours and guides.
We had a seventh floor oceanfront room with a fantastic view. I talked to the front desk and they said it's a thing that the toilet often makes gurgling sounds spewing up sulfur fumes, and wetting the toilet seat!! I know it's Iceland, but the
hotel was a bit overpriced.
Rien.
Good location
Very expensive for what u get. Rooms r very small, kind of like a hostel
Ty
T
chambre confortable
Location! Can walk to many interesting places
Room the size of a closet. No place to put luggage, just a coat rack for clothes. we wanted to read outside the room because of the lack of space. We went to the rooftop lounge at 3 different times of day and was told to leave because they decided to close. So the area pictured in the photos and inside are not open except for breakfast and when the bar is open at night.
Everything was great other than the noise of keeping windows open otherwise room was too hot. And a fan doesn’t do it.
Location was great very convenient . Close to everything you need to see in the city center.
Wonderful waterside location. We had a corner room on the 7th floor, with large floor to ceiling picture windows on both walls. The view of the waters, harbour, cruise ships and the Harpa was beautiful. The tour bus stop was across the road.
The room was on the smaller side, no cupboards or drawers anywhere, making it messy with open suitcases, clothes and stuff strewn around. The bathroom was small, the bath tub too deep to get in and out of ( we are senior citizens) and the shower head was along the width of the tub, not along the length. So it was tricky gymnastics to shower and not get water on the floor of the bathroom.
Not having an on-site restaurant was a major drawback. They do have a Skybar for snacks ( which has beautiful views) but having to step out on a rainy evening for a meal, when you are tired after a days tour, was a dampner. The restaurants, shops and convenience stores are a little distance away, on either direction from the hotel.
That said, the housekeeping staff and the staff at the reception were very helpful, courteous and friendly.
