So fabulous!
Pros:

I loved that this hotel has been left as a fabulous example of 1970’s architecture. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Views and grounds are spectacular.

Cons:

I would have like more dining options, but the Japanese restaurant was excellent and the staff so accommodating and friendly.

Mooie onsen, maar s avonds helemaal dood
Pros:

De onsen was heerlijk en mooi en je wordt goed geholpen. Wel gender gescheiden.

Cons:

Wij moesten 40 minuten in het donker langs een autoweg lopen om wat eten te halen bij een supermarkt. Er komen geen taxis of ubers meer na 6 uur, er gaat geen bus en het hotel wilde ons geen fietsen lenen. Dat viel erg tegen.

Cons:

We have been in 6 hotels in Japan and Korea. This was the most expensive one and the less value for money. Our hotel room looked old an smell bad . After 17.00 everything around the hotel is closed. No where to buy food or drinks,no grossary store .If you don't have a car you are stuck .

Great Lake view. Spacious, tranquil, and clean accommodation. All staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I loved it, but restaurants and onsen require walk to visit, if you have difficulty in mobility, you may want to consider wheelchairs .

Hotel è in riva al lago

Cons:

Sì è costretti a mangiare in hotel ( ad Hakone chiude tutto praticamente alle 17,00). Il costo per mangiare in hotel è eccessivo sia per la cena che per la colazione.

立地が素晴らしく建物のDesignも素敵でした。
温泉の露天風呂はお湯と景色とDesign全て素晴らしかったです。
スタッフの方々も気持ち良い対応で最高の避暑地休暇となりました^ ^

Good stay, average hotel
Pros:

The lake facing rooms and hotel grounds were great, the staff is super friendly and courteous, and the hotel is tranquil and quiet which was great for relaxation. Onsen was good. The hourly shuttle made it comfortable to get to the town, and they have a free bus service to Odawara station for those using the Shinkansen.

Cons:

The property has odd restaurant timings and a very limited vegetarian menu/options. It’s difficult to find dinner after 8:45 pm or lunch after 2:30 pm. There are no restaurant options immediately outside either. The bar menu is super small. Compared to other “4-star” options in Hakone, this hotel was just average.
