Exceptional! By far the best place I have ever stayed
Pros:

Everything!! This was my favorite stay in Japan. No complaints about anything. The staff was helpful and we stayed for our honeymoon and we were surprised by some complimentary snacks and drinks. The onsen was my favorite experience! The view of Fuji is amazing in the morning. Can’t recommend this place enough

Si je reviens à Hakone, je sais ou je vais reserver !!
Pros:

Super lieux en face du lac. La chambre avec vue sur le lac est un vrai plus.
On a aussi beaucoup aimé les repas. Nous avons mangé le soir et lors du petit dejeuner au buffet.
C'etait super bon et avec un choix très important.
Je recommande grandement cet hotel

Comfortable quiet place for a recharge.
Pros:

We love the spacious room and comfortable beds. Good quality toiletries too.

The onsen was good. A quiet place to stay zen and rejuvenate and recharge.

The free shuttles to and from Odawara station as well as to Motohakone are much appreciated.

Cons:

all good, would have been better if we were in the West Wing instead so we could see Mount Fuji from the room...but it is good enough, as we were lucky to be able to view Mount Fuji from the garden.

Highly recommended.

Pros:

Lovely location with great views of both lake and Mt Fuji. Rooms were good sized and nice amenities. Overall very happy with stay EXCEPT for our supper at their French restaurant. The food was at best mixed in quality. Great bread, very nice salad, very medium bean soup and not very good fish dish. Serving sizes were shockingly small especially given the high prices. . We have eaten at restaurants all over the world and again were shocked at how small the portions were. Perhaps the other restaurants were better and I must say their view was wonderful but overall I cannot recommend this restaurant.
