Amazing visit to River Inn-friendly staff and great accommodations.
Pros:

Wonderful experience! Suite had plenty of space for our family of 6. Very welcoming for pets as well. Laundry was convenient and easy to use. We checked out 2 bikes to explore DC with the family-bikes were very well maintained and comfortable. Every staff member was very friendly-from housekeeping to front desk. Ashley Jean (front desk) went out of her way to help our family. She was very accommodating when we had an issue that delayed checkout and smoothed over a stressful situation. The other gentleman that was very helpful was the doorman/valet. He was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Location was great-easy walk/bike ride to major landmarks. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Wonderful stay at The River Inn
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, the location was excellent, and the onsite restaurant was both convenient and a real highlight.

Anna at the front desk went above and beyond—she even came outside in the pouring rain to bring us an umbrella. Mr. B was pleasant and helpful as we settled into our room. At the restaurant (Matera), Amanda and Cam always greeted us with a smile and made every meal fun and welcoming.

We will definitely be back!

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient!
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at the River Inn. It was clean, comfortable, and great for 3-4 people.

Ashley Jean at the front desk made some great dining recommendations. And the team took good care of our luggage after check out because we had a late flight and wanted to meet a friend for lunch and see some more sights.

The location is excellent with safe and convenient access to the Foggy Bottom Metro stop and GWU campus and the west end of the National Mall.

Highly recommend and would stay again, especially with the great value we got for our booking.

Great location
Pros:

Centrally located by George Washington University, the National mall, and lots of stores and shops within walking distance. Very friendly front desk staff answered all my question.

Great location- slightly overpriced for the room
Pros:

The location was excellent. It was just a 5–10 minute walk to Georgetown University, about 15 minutes to the heart of Georgetown, and approximately 15 minutes to the National Mall. The on-site restaurant and bar were also a highlight. The food was very good, although it was on the expensive side. They do offer happy hour specials on select items, which helped with the cost, and the staff was friendly and provided excellent service.

Cons:

The property felt very outdated overall. I requested a more recently renovated room, and while the staff did accommodate my request, the room still felt dated and quite dark, particularly the trim and finishes. The kitchen was also noticeably outdated, so we chose not to use it. Additionally, there was a slight odor in the room that made it feel less fresh.

Departamento espacioso y cerca al Centro
Pros:

El departamento era espacioso. Nos brindaron sartenes, olla y hervidora para cocinar con facilidad. El personal de limpieza era amable. Nos ayudaron a tomar taxi al aeropuerto, a un buen precio.

Cons:

El dispensador de shampoo no funcionaba bien y la persiana de la ducha no cerraba completamente, se podía ver a los vecinos del edificio del costado por la ventana de la ducha.
