A basic, mediocre hotel in a very beautiful location.
Pros:

The view from the decking at the back of the Hotel is spectacular!!! We could’ve sat out there all day. Peaceful, tranquil setting.

Cons:

Rooms were large but very basic. Outdated decor. No replacement of water after room clean despite it being a heatwave at the time of our stay.
The service in the restaurant/bar was a bit slap dash, with the exception of one young lady who said she was from Sneem. She was attentive to all guests, lovely manner and very very efficient.
The food was disappointing, my steak was well done & dry when I asked medium/rare.

Lovely relaxing stay at Sneem Hotel ...
Pros:

Perfect stay at Sneem Hotel - beautiful location , especially loved the warm welcome at reception on arrival and the friendly bar staff, excellent staff throughout this hotel - bedroom with lovely views, very comfortable, excellent facilities. Good choices at breakfast too.... lovely relaxing place to stay and unwind ....

Atmosphere is missing
Pros:

Location is great with ample parking and gorgeous grounds, bedrooms and bathrooms and restaurants are outdated and badly need modernizing and brought to higher standards. Bed was huge but new mattress was needed. The hotel was very quiet when we were there but there was no atmosphere so we went up to the village which is great!

Pros:

We had our wedding at Sneem Hotel in May, and the only way to describe the entire weekend is simply perfect.
We were incredibly lucky to have beautiful weather, which made the stunning surroundings of Sneem and the hotel even more special. Our guests travelled from all over Ireland and from around the world, and so many of them commented on how breathtaking both the hotel and Sneem village were. For many, it was their first visit to Kerry, and they couldn't believe how beautiful the location was.
From the very beginning, Louise was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Planning a wedding from Australia could have been stressful, but she made the entire process so easy. Nothing was ever too big or too small, and she was always just a phone call or message away. Her support, professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. She truly went above and beyond for us, especially when we had a last-minute reception music cancellation just days before the wedding. Louise immediately stepped in and helped us find a replacement, taking so much stress off our shoulders.
The feedback from our guests was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone spoke so highly of the hotel, the exceptional staff and the incredible food. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, friendly and genuinely invested in making our weekend special. The small details and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel did not go unnoticed and were commented on by so many of our family and friends.
We honestly could not have asked for a better venue. Sneem Hotel exceeded all of our expectations and gave us the wedding weekend we had always dreamed of. We would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a truly special wedding venue. It was everything we hoped for and so much more.

Gorgeous
Pros:

Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and professional. Room was very large and bed comfortable. Lots of seats at reception to relax and chat/read. View from the back of the hotel was stunning with a lovely small forest walk to bring you into the village. Few minutes walk to village

Pros:

The location was great, very relaxing and the views were incredible

Cons:

The staff were very rude. We were sat in the bar for 20 minutes only family there and had to ask could we get tea and coffee while they were cleaning a table beside me.
The older staff werw extremely rude to the younger waiters and ir was made very noticeable to us all.
This unfortunately tainted this trip for us and we wont be returning

Sneem is worth an overnight stay!
Pros:

Much good can be said about the Sneem Hotel; well located with beautiful views, ample space everywhere, friendly and helpful staff, surprisingly good food, fair value all round. Unfortunately the bathroom shower was beyond a joke. Totally inadequate!
