Sneem Hotel

Location is great with ample parking and gorgeous grounds, bedrooms and bathrooms and restaurants are outdated and badly need modernizing and brought to higher standards. Bed was huge but new mattress was needed. The hotel was very quiet when we were there but there was no atmosphere so we went up to the village which is great!

Too expensive for family for one night

We had our wedding at Sneem Hotel in May, and the only way to describe the entire weekend is simply perfect.
We were incredibly lucky to have beautiful weather, which made the stunning surroundings of Sneem and the hotel even more special. Our guests travelled from all over Ireland and from around the world, and so many of them commented on how breathtaking both the hotel and Sneem village were. For many, it was their first visit to Kerry, and they couldn't believe how beautiful the location was.
From the very beginning, Louise was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Planning a wedding from Australia could have been stressful, but she made the entire process so easy. Nothing was ever too big or too small, and she was always just a phone call or message away. Her support, professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. She truly went above and beyond for us, especially when we had a last-minute reception music cancellation just days before the wedding. Louise immediately stepped in and helped us find a replacement, taking so much stress off our shoulders.
The feedback from our guests was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone spoke so highly of the hotel, the exceptional staff and the incredible food. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, friendly and genuinely invested in making our weekend special. The small details and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel did not go unnoticed and were commented on by so many of our family and friends.
We honestly could not have asked for a better venue. Sneem Hotel exceeded all of our expectations and gave us the wedding weekend we had always dreamed of. We would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a truly special wedding venue. It was everything we hoped for and so much more.

Much good can be said about the Sneem Hotel; well located with beautiful views, ample space everywhere, friendly and helpful staff, surprisingly good food, fair value all round. Unfortunately the bathroom shower was beyond a joke. Totally inadequate!

We recently had our wedding at Sneem Hotel and honestly could not have asked for a better venue or experience. From start to finish, everything was handled so professionally and seamlessly.

A huge thank you to Louise, our wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond to make our day so special. Every small detail was looked after and no request was ever too much hassle. Louise made the whole planning process stress-free and was an absolute pleasure to work with.

All of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire weekend. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the food was — it truly exceeded expectations.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, spacious rooms, and exceptional cleanliness throughout. Everything was maintained to such a high standard and it created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding celebrations.

Sneem Hotel genuinely went above and beyond for us and helped create memories we will cherish forever. We would highly recommend it to any couple considering it as a wedding venue.

Superb stay, excellent hotel, great staff and service, super food of highest quality (no difficulties addressing food allergies) , spotlessly clean, location and views incredible. Good value.

We booked this hotel as there's a special Grotto in Sneem that we wanted to visit and it happens to be just outside the gates ... but what an unexpected, lovely decision it turned out to be! There is so much to love here.. from the accommodation, food, customer service... and the view really is spectacular! Dinner was really good... especially loved the bread and butter pudding with chocolate chips! Likewise, breakfast was excellent... at last a chef that can actually make porridge (not the lukewarm, watery gruel served up by most hotels!) and perfectly cooked poached eggs! And that has to be the nicest black pudding ever! As I am a big film buff I loved the movie location connection and the photographic exhibition in the lobby! We were lucky to be there in the sunshine and the views are just fabulous ... and you are so lucky to have a fabulous staff also... super friendly and helpful. From Mickey at reception, Lucy and Gergana (sorry for the spelling!) at dinner, Rhona at breakfast... to the housekeeping lady who showed me the room she was cleaning (water view with balcony... so sorry I didn't book it!) Highly recommend this hotel and would DEFINITELY advise anyone to book a water view room... I know it costs a bit more but you won't be sorry!

I stayed in the Sneem Hotel around 12 years ago and I’ve always wanted to return . I booked direct with the hotel and got a great mid week b&b deal with one evening meal .
When I parked up I took in my surroundings and just took in the space around me - upon entering reception and the lobby area it feels airy and homely .
I was greeted warmly at reception and was looked after by Louise . My room was on the ground floor with a walk in shower which I requested. A lovely big bedroom, kettle , tea etc . If I had one thing to say a smart tv would be a great addition.
I had dinner in the hotel , I was looked after by Lourdes . Breakfast on both mornings were very tasty and a great selection to choose from . I met with Red a few times but he didn’t want to come home with me !! He was so funny opening the door to come in and to tell me keep petting him if I stopped ! I’m already looking forward to returning.

Staff went above and beyond! Beautiful location and the seaweed soak is not to be missed! Large room and delightful breakfast.

Beautiful location, central to most attractions along the ring of Kerry, really gorgeous hotel with modern facilities. The food was the highlight of the trip. We had the steak, Vietnamese chicken and the sundae. I will be back.

All around great experience. I only have positive things to say about the hotel and the staff. The location i great with spectacular views and grounds. The food was top class and the service from all of the staff was helpful and friendly.

Amazing experience for my first ever visit to the Sneem hotel. The reception team very kindly upgraded our room due to recently being engaged. The views from our balcony were so picturesque, they also left a plate of sweet treats in our room which were delicious. The dinner was 10/10, and the breakfast was full of fresh cold and hot options. I cannot wait to return here again. My new favourite place to stay. Thanks so much to all the Sneem hotel team for making our first stay away as a newly engaged couple so memorable and special.
