Pros:

A great place. Don't listen to all the whingeing reviews. This place has excellent security and is very comfortable and pleasant. I spent a night in a room called 'the cave' which was fabulous.

For the price you're not going to get champagne breakfasts and a steam room but for what it is it's excellent. Free coffee and lemonade and a very pleasant family feeling. Staff are almost all exceedingly friendly.

Cons:

One staff member was a little abrupt when I helped myself to lemonade, but she was doing it in the name of security so so forgave her.

There was a bed bug infestation and when management was confronted there was a lot of attitude.

Excellent safe and quirky inn.
Pros:

Clean comfortable place with friendly staff and excellent security. A kitchen, free coffee and lemonade and a nice TV in the room with lots of channels.
It's not the Hilton so don't expect a champagne breakfast but it's a nice place with a quirky style. As a veteran of econo inn before it closed I can tell you this place is excellent! The security is no nonsense so you can feel very safe. It also has a nice quirky theme with wooden decorations and antlers about which was appreciated.
Some reviewers are such whingers looking for things to moan about.
This is now my go to place as a budget inn in Anchorage.
Sweet caribou / Bema cafe is also opposite.

Cons:

One member of staff was a little abrupt with me when I had some lemonade, checking I was a guest and asking my room number. But then I thought to myself that she's ensuring good security so I forgave her.

It was affordable, comfortable and the location was close to the airport for a last minute booking. Thank you, I’d recom
Pros:

I liked the location and the room. It had a queen bed and a twin bed for my son and I to travel through Anchorage. The beds were clean but the shower was not.

Cons:

I think the housekeepers can spend 5-10 minutes cleaning the shower rather than leaving it with soap scum and a mess on the shower floor. We had to shower with our sandals.

Overall good experience, not your usual place so worth checking it in! Make sure to close the curtains tight in spring a
Pros:

Very quirky place! Not your usual motel or inn! It was easy to find, car park at the back was a massive bonus. Room itself was a bit odd but that just added to the overall experience! We had a room with private shower but there was plenty bathrooms to share for those rooms that didn’t! Seemed clean and tidy enough.

Cons:

Doors to our room were a bit hard to fully open it would get stuck on the floor half way in. But for us it was enough space to get in and out!
Kitchen unit had no light but that also might be due to some repairs happening there at the moment of our stay.

Bad experience
Pros:

This hotel is a bad experience. It's dingy and noisy (on a busy street). Shared bathrooms mean lots of banging and other noises throughout the night. Staff seem in a hurry to get customers taken care of. Room was small and hot (no ventilation) and bed was uncomfortable. Only positive: It was priced well below the other (exorbitantly priced) hotels in Anchorage.

A wonderful little cute place to stay
Pros:

This is my go to place friendly staff, great service and there's always somebody there 24/7 to help you with anything you need. These guys are my second family when I come to Anchorage. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. There's always enough parking and it's conveniently located for everything I need. Absolutely love everybody that works there.
