Cons:

The room was 80 degrees and no air conditioning. There was a small oscillating fan. Sweating so bad we checked and decided to sleep in our car and drive 700 miles to next town.

Quirky nice room - a fund place to stay a few nights
Pros:

Good price (for Anchorage) nice room and a little quirky but super nice. Nice restaurants near by and a Dominos across the street if you getting in late like we did.

Cons:

nothing it was good value - we took a cruise so the location was nice

Non-obvious shared bathroom
Pros:

The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

It was not very obvious when booking that it would be a shared bathroom. The bathroom was not the cleanest and there was a sign that said that guests should clean the bathroom to keep it clean. We were also there on the 4th of July and someone had drank too much, and was throwing up the entire night. We didn't sleep much because the walls are very thin and we heard everything.

There was also exposed electrical wiring behind the bed.

Pros:

A great place. Don't listen to all the whingeing reviews. This place has excellent security and is very comfortable and pleasant. I spent a night in a room called 'the cave' which was fabulous.

For the price you're not going to get champagne breakfasts and a steam room but for what it is it's excellent. Free coffee and lemonade and a very pleasant family feeling. Staff are almost all exceedingly friendly.

Cons:

One staff member was a little abrupt when I helped myself to lemonade, but she was doing it in the name of security so so forgave her.
