The room was quite cheap, we got what we paid for.
Pros:

The location is very handy to town for restaurants.

Cons:

The breakfast was awful.
The cooked breakfast my husband had was cold, and only some of it was available.
The continental breakfast only had the cheapest type of cereals on offer, the pots of jam looked like they had been in use for weeks and the orange juice was far from fresh.
The room we stayed in was in serious need of refurbishment.
The guy at check in forgot to take payment for the room from us and put payment for the breakfast voucher against the wrong name.
Housekeeping missed a McDonalds cup and straw which we found on top of a cupboard in the room.

We were stranded with a cancelled Ferry sailing, the staff were efficicent arranging an extra night
Pros:

It ticks the boxes for the important three questions - comfy bed, good shower and locality.
Added bonuses for onsite parking for the car and a view of the port. And the excellent staff member who brought water out for our frosted over car to allow us to get away to catch the Ferry.
