Small room for price, Bathroom could use updating but fine for small space
Great location right in the historic district.
On the last day of our stay, our used towels were taken away, but fresh ones were not brought back. We had to track someone down to get clean towels so we could shower after coming back from the beach. Even then, we weren’t able to get all of the towels that had been taken from our room replaced, which made me worry that the hotel might think we had taken or lost them.
On the day we checked out, we asked for help bringing our luggage down and loading it into the car. Unfortunately, the valet had a bad attitude. I also noticed afterward that he had placed one of our coolers incorrectly, causing water from the melted ice to leak onto the luggage underneath it and soak it.
So close to everything! Extremely welcoming! Love they provide water bottles your entire stay. Nice snacks and cucumber water and lemonade in the main lobby. Bed and pillows very comfortable.

The accommodations were beautiful, clean and close to the downtown activities. The staff were very accommodating. Breakfast and the complimentary Happy Hour were very special.
Our particulate room was small. Larger rooms were available at a higher cost.

What a great stay at this gem of a property. Our Charleston vacation was great and the Andrew Pinckney helped to make it very memorable week.
We booked a standard King room. Cozy and very clean. The bed was so comfortable, we had a great night's sleep every night. Housekeeping came daily and we always came back from being out to a refreshed room. Soundproofing must be pretty good, we never heard anything from our neighboring rooms.
What sets the Andrew Pinckney apart was the little touches. This is not a mega resort, it's a boutique hotel that really seems to care about the experience of the guests. We met the friendliest staff at the afternoon wine and cheese hour. Afternoon treats (the cookies were very tasty) and lemonade/sweet tea in the lobby was a nice touch too. The included breakfast in the solarium was genuinely good with your standard cereals/pastries/yogurt and fruit as well as eggs/quiche and a breakfast meat. Great way to start the day for sure.
Location can't be beat, you will be right in the historic Charleston area with everything within walking distance. We walked to dinner each night and the shopping on King St as well as the waterfront are just minutes away.
Valet was convenient, we never waited more than a few minutes for our car so no issues there.
Overall, this was a great value for a Charleston stay and we wouldn't hesitate to come back again. The Andrew Pinckney has a lot of character and we hope it stays that way! Highly recommend.

The location was great. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The view from the breakfast room was great.
No workout facilities. Poor water pressure. Breakfasts were lackluster, at best. Lighting in bathroom not adequate.
