Breakfast was great! The happy hour wine and charcuterie bar was so nice! The kids loved the milk and cookies every night! Bob is the best!!! The hotel is a few blocks away from everything!!

Everything!!!! The beautiful room, the bed turn down service with the weather forecast and chocolates, amazing!! The options of pillows, great touch. The water in the mini fridge, and the products in the bathroom were all so nice. The champagne at check in and the truly outstanding breakfast were all reasons why I would highly recommend. Also, the valets were all so very respectful and friendly. I felt spoiled and special during our stay.

This is one of my favorite hotels. The location is fantastic, only outdone by the quality staff and the beautiful hotel. The included breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Love the happy hour. Good wine choices and nice appetizers. The rooms are well appointed snd spacious. I highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely everything

This boutique inn deserves a top rating! Centrally located to fine restaurants and points of interest. Rooms are spacious, CLEAN and well appointed with comfortable bedding. Bathrooms are large and are supplied with lovely plush towels and high end toiletries. The inn offers a lovely breakfast as well as a charcuterie happy hour and evening cookie splurge. But don’t let those percs sway you because everything else it offers is top notch. A special shout out to Bob and Izzy for their sincere efforts in making sure you’re perfectly happy. We will be back! Thank you for a great stay!

We had the pleasure of spending 6 nights at the French Quarter Inn at the end of May / June 2026. Given the length of our stay we upgraded to the King Junior Suite and found it to be a delightful room.

The INN being central to the City Market and offers quick access to shops, restaurants and historic churches. We were able to use it as a base for walking to dinner each night 5 to minutes to the cities top restaurants, and exploring the city center. When our car was needed IAAM museum or plantation visit etc it was an easy ingress and egress location.

Breakfast can be brought to your room or an expanded version is available in the lobby or a cute patio adjacent. We alternated to keep things fresh.

Room was very clean and surprisingly very quiet for a central city. location. Staff pleasant engaging and helpful when needed. Turn down service at night. The hotel is fastidious about minor details all which lead to a wonderful stay.

A Delightful Stay!

If you are looking for luxury, exceptional service and a convenient location in the heart of Charleston, this is it. Every staff member (from the front desk to the valets to the room service team) was warm and welcoming. I will not list all of the amenities and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, as it would be too long...highlights include a pillow menu, complimentary warm cookies and milk, sound machines and turn-down service. Details matter! Room was very spaciousand clean. I enjoyed my stay here and look forward to many returns.

I had a pleasant stay in this hotel in the heart of Charleston. It’s near the City Market and offers quick access to shops, restaurants and historic churches. The staff were wonderful. The valets were helpful and Marvin, Bob and the rest of the staff were quick to assist with restaurant recommendations and tours. The room was clean and spacious. I loved the wine and cheese hour each night and the night ending milk and cookies. Breakfast was also more than generous. I highly recommend this hotel for its pleasant ambiance and friendly staff.

Second time staying and worth a second review. Just as good as we remember, if not better. You can not beat the location of this hotel and the above and beyond accommodating staff. This was our first trip back as a couple with our baby and we had the best time. Such a stress free environment and great to stay as a family. We called ahead to reserve a crib which was waiting in our room! The rooms are extremely spacious and you can't hear any noise from the street or other guests rooms which was very important to us with the baby. The location was so convenient and close to all the best restaurants and sights. You are literally on top of the infamous market. Coming home to the complimentary wine & cheese after a day out on the town and the cookies & port after gave us something to look forward to. Can't wait to go back.. again!!!

This was not my first visit to Charleston but it was my first stay at the French Quarter Inn. The location is perfect, I could walk to anything I wanted to visit easily. That was one of the reasons I picked this hotel. The staff-they know southern hospitality. I immediately made friends with Bob and he had recommendations when I asked, knew everything about the city, the food, anything I needed. They made me feel like i never wanted to leave and can’t wait to come back. We loved the breakfast in bed, the afternoon wine and the milk and cookies before bed. I may have to come back for every vacation because it will be hard to top this, see you soon!

Exceptional, First Class experience! Perfect location for this walkable city, room was spacious and spotless, staff was attentive and friendly, and the facility and breakfast were delightful. Safe, quite, central, we felt very comfortable.

Lynn in Catering was so helpful and absolutely incredible to work with during our Board meeting! She was always one step ahead, anticipating our needs and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and willingness to help made a wonderful impression. Thank you, Lynn, for everything!

Kevin in Valet was superb. No matter what we needed, he was always ready and willing to help with a positive attitude. His exceptional service truly stood out. Thank you, Kevin, for going above and beyond!

Stay at the French Quarter in a couple years ago during Covid. Found it an intimate European like feel. Wanted to try it again to see if we would have the same experience. It did not disappoint. It still has the same charm and nice amenities that we found so pleasurable the first time. In addition, however, this time we found the front desk staff to be extremely cordial and helpful. Especially want to make note of Bob who made us feel very welcome and spent at least 20 minutes talking with us individually. One evening we sat in the lobby and played board games that are available to all hotel guests. As a result, we witnessed his interaction with other guests. He greeted all who came with the same courtesy and interest that we found to be so genuine.
Also can’t beat the location one block from St Phillips church.
