The staff were always helpful and looked after all our needs. Great place to stay!

Close to everything we needed

Cons:

Street was very noisy at night and with the high temperatures outside, windows had to be kept open. A fan would have been nice to have.

Nice little hotel in a great location. Despite the criticisms we would stay again
Pros:

The staff were excellent. We arrived early and went to ask if we could leave our bags. They said if we could hang on ten minutes we could check in. They were also great organising us a taxi to the station.

The room was a decent size with really good air conditioning and a nice shower.

The breakfast was good. The free water, coffee and treats (especially the Haribo sweets) in reception were a nice touch as was the cake we were given on departure.

The location was excellent.

Cons:

The corridors and carpets were very tired. The room needed more plug sockets and bigger bath towels. The breakfast room was a little cramped and hot. Didn’t feel quite 4 star.

The staff were great….. with a particular shout out to Valerie who went out of her way to make sure we were happy

Great boutique style hotel in old city. Walk to shops and restaurants.

Great location, spacious room, disappointment staff

Great location, spacious room and bathroom, and good Wi-Fi.

Cons:

The main disappointment was the staff. They were not very helpful or attentive. Our room key card stopped working three times during our stay. Each time, we were asked if we had kept it close to our phones, which felt quite dismissive. We have stayed in many hotels before and know how to use a hotel key card. Having the same problem three times was frustrating, and we expected a more helpful approach from the staff.

We were also given very little information about the hotel when we checked in.

Communication in English was another issue. We had difficulty communicating with the staff, especially with the person working at breakfast.

Overall, the location and room were good, but the service and communication could be much better.
