Despite being let down by the Macallan distillery which was absolutely nothing to do with the Craigellachie we were treated to an upgraded room. This was a very nice gesture.
Our Sunday roast was one of the best we’d ever eaten.
Freya in the Whisky Snug was also excellent.
El Pub y la amabilidad del personal
Muy buena atencion.
Las instalaciones estan muy bien
Muy cerca de la ruta. Si bien a la noche no molesta. Durante el dia hay movimiento
The location, the BAR (fabulous bartender made our stay!), the staff, and the pub downstairs (The Speyside Inn) were all great.
The room was quite small (we had the "Cozy" or mid sized room) and the 'king size bed' was far from a king size bed that north americans are used to. They told us that they were normal for this area, but we stayed in 4 hotels while in Scotland and all the others had full size King sized beds, so I found that misleading. They have another category called a Super King, I think, and that did have a full king sized bed. It's just good to know ahead of time.
Die Bar und der Barmanager war sehr bemüht.
Das Zimmer war alt (maximal 2 Sterne-Standard), vermorschte Fenster und Schimmel überall. Der Empfangsbereich war schmutzig.
Perfectly located inn for launching any visits in the Speyside region. Great whiskey selection in the bar. Great restaurant (Spey Inn) on site - delicious.

Good Breakfast, great staff
All Good
Beautiful hotel
The property was in a good location. The bar and restaurant were nice. We liked the history.
We found it lacking. Things like no offer to help with bags, no hangars in the closet, the fan was filthy, and for such a large bathroom there was one tiny shelf for storage. Our room was right above the bar and it was warm so we had to open the window. The patrons from the bar were outside smoking cigars and the smell went directly into the room.
