The food was really good and the staff were very nice. The view was great too.
The facilities were frankly awful. It was the the absolute worst bed I’ve ever slept on and the pillows were really bad too. It’s like we slept on a box spring. We were up all night and it was not a comfortable place to sleep. It’s a hotel, the beds should be a priority and it just wasn’t. Worst bed we had during our trip and my body felt wrecked afterwards. It’s a shame when the pictures look so inviting and the reality couldn’t be further from the expectation. The pool and hot tub were really poor looking with an overwhelming chlorine wave. We were excited for the pool and hot tub but ended up passing because it just looked run down. It could have been a decent place because the view and food were good. Just the hotel part was not even close to good. I felt completely let down by what we saw online when we saw how it really was. The size of the room was fine but the rest was just plain awful. It was the most expensive place we booked and had we had another night, we would have left.
Amazing location, very large rooms, beautiful views and the indoor pool was perfect for the kids to unwind after spending hours in the car.
The hotel feels a little dated but that’s completely understandable as the weather and humidity must make maintenance quite costly. Perhaps at some point, a renovation could help give the hotel a warmer and more cozy atmosphere.

Food: On a very positive note, the food provided was excellent. Everything we had was of very good quality, and this was certainly one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and there were several aspects we appreciated. However, there were also a few points that we felt could be improved:
* Room cleaning: Our rooms were not cleaned during our stay. We later realised that we apparently needed to hang a cleaning request sign outside the room. This was not obvious to us and could perhaps be communicated more clearly at check-in or in the room.
* Towel warmer: The towel warmer did not appear to be working. As a result, our towels were still wet when we returned in the evening, which was rather inconvenient.
* Restaurant temperature: While the restaurant itself was very attractive and comfortable in terms of design, we found it rather cold inside, particularly given the outside temperatures of below 13°C. A slightly warmer room temperature would have made the dining experience considerably more comfortable.
* Cleanliness of common areas: We also noticed that the hallway did not appear to have been cleaned to the standard we would expect from a hotel in this price category.
* Value for money: Overall, however, we felt that the price-performance ratio did not quite meet our expectations. Given the price level of the hotel, we would have expected greater attention to housekeeping, room comfort and some of the smaller details mentioned above.

The hotel is right at the lake. there is a picnic area and a pier. The rooms are nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good, the view from the rooms and the restaurant was really beautiful. Staff was nice and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi is great to relax after a hike.
I did not like the initial chlorine smell in our room. There was not a fridge in the room.

Room was spacious and comfortable and the view from the hotel room was incredible. Breakfast was very tasty and staff were friendly.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and service was very slow, I thought they had forgotten about us a few times. Food was very overpriced for what it was.
