Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.

Le quartier de San Isidro est calme, résidentiel

Cons:

Ce n'est pas un boutique hôtel, encore moins un 3 étoiles.
Cela s'apparente plutôt à un gîte qui a bien besoin d'être rénové.

Les chambres et salles de bain sont désuètes, pas très propres et la literie est cassée. La baie vitrée pour aller sur les balcons ne ferme pas, niveau sécurité c'est bof.

Pas d'ascenseur, si vous êtes au deuxième étage vous avez un escalier très très étroit, pas du tout pratique pour monter les bagages.
L'hôtel était loin d'être complet, on aurait pu être bien plus bas, pour deux nuits monter tout en haut n'est pas très agréable.

Le personnel n'est pas non plus agréable, aucune suggestion sur ce qui est à voir, la bouteille d'eau sera facturée 3 dollars américains (40 centimes d'euro dans une superette à 3 minutes à pied...). Nous avions demandé s'il était possible de commander un taxi pour le centre historique, on nous a dit "oui pas de soucis, ça coûte environ 15-20 soles". Ok parfait. Lorsque le taxi arrive, la réceptionniste nous dit "en fait c'est 40 soles"... L'explication est plus que douteuse sur cette hausse "ah mais vous comprenez c'est plus sécuritaire comme ça". Du vol pur et simple, le taxi ne nous a même pas déposées en plein centre mais sur une place adjacente, car plus pratique pour lui.

Not that I didn’t like but it was a little difficult to find the hotel because the front does not resemble the picture in the add, I think the name of the hotel should be posted outside

Too much work!

I noticed that there was a possible charge for a small dog. OK but the initial additional fee was quoted as $40 for a room that was only $60. Then I was told that the quoted amount was a mistake and we ended up at $15 for the pet for one night. The other issue was that there possibly was waiving of an IVA tax for non-Peruvian's but the described documentation was a foreign passport and an immigration card. There is no card issued as you just enter Peru with a passport. The explanation implied both were needed with no exception. We ultimately did not pay the IVA tax but trying to figure out the cost of this property vs. others was not worth the time and, also, there was no WiFi.
