We were very disappointed with our stay at the hotel

I was very disappointed with our stay at the hotel and, unfortunately, the experience was poor enough that we decided to check out one day earlier than planned.

The seat cushions in the hotel were dusty, and our room was extremely hot and uncomfortable.

I also ordered a seafood platter that was supposed to include smoked salmon. However, it arrived without the salmon, and I was then told that they had run out. Instead of asking me what I would prefer, the hotel provided extra prawns as a replacement. I would have expected to be consulted before changing part of my order.

The breakfast was another major disappointment. There were very limited choices, and I waited around half an hour for scrambled eggs. In the end, I had to leave without receiving them.

Overall, the quality of the service and facilities did not meet our expectations, and we felt that the hotel did not provide the standard of experience we had paid for. As a result, we decided to cut our holiday short and check out one day before the end of our stay.

I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

The staff were friendly and helpful, we had use of facilities after check out. We had a great stay!

Great location great views of golf course

Location ideal for visiting relatives in taverham and also for exploring norfolk

Cons:

Breakfast ended at 9.30...a little later would have been better
No lifts so if stairs a problem ask for ground floor room.

A lovely relaxing place with beautiful scenery
Pros:

The helpfulness of all the staff and the smiley waitresses when arriving at the Restaurant, all were very accommodating. also the very nice swimming pool which was heated

The hot breakfast was the only thing that let this Hotel down, scrambled eggs were undercooked, mushrooms watery, fried eggs cold and dried up

Rooms are nothing like what was advertised, awful smell , bedding smelt terrible . The fan for the room hardly worked and I didn't like that the room was so hot with a bad smell that I had to check out early because it made my 7 year old son ill.

The food was excellent, and staff very accommodating.
Very polite and ready to help.
The manager was really good.

The bathrooms need a little more thought, no where to put the towels as there's no towel rails.
There's nowhere to put toiletries, as you accidentally cover the flush sensor. Toilet roll holder need to be positioned better not behind you.some of the dressing tables had no mirrors, not good for ladies when getting ready to go out, hair and makeup etc.
