Breakfast was great. A varied choice and food fresh. Location was excellent for us as we travelled by train purposely to view some of the West Highland Way.
As a woman I like a dressing table with a mirror. While it had a full length mirror in the room it was no where near the dressing table where I sit to apply make up and dry and style my hair.
A bit short staffed at breakfast time . Waiting to be seated
You are right down by the water. Hotel is airconditioned and had an elevator. Room was lovely and included washcloths. Throughout our stay in the UK, we judged hotels based on whether they had washcloths. We brought some, but loved when they were provided. The Brasserie was some of the best food we had all throughout Scotland. Their staff were just lovely and served us in such a professional manner; so kind. Food was amazing. Breakfast again was well done. This hotel truly was a pearl.
trying to find a parking space. Fortunately, I was able to park out front. It is free until 9 AM but we left before that.
Tolles und ruhiges Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Frühstück war ein Traum und das Personal super nett
Great location although best to sort parking prior to visit. Professional reception staff. Clean and in good state of decoration.
Some of the staff at dinner didn’t quite know what was happening. The particular one was young and I think they need a bit more training.
Modern comfortable nice in room biscuits teas and coffee
No parking but I shouldn’t complain I got parked right outside the door and on street parking is free overnight until 1.30pm Sunday
Good choice and well prepared
I couldn’t fault anything
Centrally located, comfortable beds, great towels
Smoking in the foyer
The room was excellent, with 2 very comfy twin beds and a lovely warm power shower. All of the toiletries we needed were there, too. We booked on the day of arrival, and both arrived with bicycles. The receptionist was very welcoming and allowed us to store our bicycles in an unused event/meeting room for the night. We had a quick drink in the bar before bed (the barman was very relaxed and friendly) and left early in the morning.
The hotel was on the expensive side and not something we normally would have booked, but it was greta given the circumstances.
Tenía escuché europeo, ubicación y desayuno muy bueno
Baño súper pequeño y teníamos que subir escaleras para llegar a nuestra habitación aún hablando cogido un ascensor anteriormente
So close to station and ferry , and very well appointed room. Try to get a sea view room!
Breakfast was lovely .
Love the yoga mats in the room, nice touch.
Please explain the spa /steam policy more clearly.
It’s pricey compared to other properties in Oban, but worth it for convenience and comfort
Great location. Lovely hotel.
