Pros:

From the girls on reception, the cleaner and pub staff everyone was so friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious, the kitchette was handy
We stayed in a hostel for a couple of nights up tbe road..... wish we knew about Swan's beforehand. Would of skip the hostel and came straight here.
Amazing.

Cons:

Not having the elevator working.
However they did inform us, being 2 old girls who had had enough of lugging bags around, so we were able to pack a small bag and leave our big bags downstairs which worked a treat.

Could have been better.

No working lift for the entire stay.

Staff, on arrival staff were not accommodating. Via email I requested early check in, however this was not available. After a walk we return to the lobby and waited…. After 1.5 hours we asked for an update to find out our room had been ready all the time. This was totally disappointing as we were exhausted from international travel.
The staff member did not care.

Comfortable stay in an historic building not far from Chinatown and Victoria harbor
Pros:

Very large spacious room within walking distance to the harbor, Chinatown and other sights in Victoria. Check in process was easy. The bed was very comfortable and everything in the bathroom worked properly. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked like it was stocked well for someone to make a simple meal or snack.

Cons:

Nothing! Everything was great!

Character that makes you feel at home with a vancouver flair.
Pros:

Location was right beside the harbor and a 5 minute walk from major bus routes. The room had all the appliances needed for a comfortable stay.

Cons:

Appliances were old. Our microwave broke when we tried to use it. Also the shower head was like a jet stream.

Pros:

Location can’t be beat. I liked the double bedroom suite for my family if 5. Perfect with living room, kitchen, dining area.

Nice funky old place, nice people, don't bring a car.
Pros:

I wanted to stay in the Chinatown neighborhood and they're right there

Cons:

Do Not drive here. They have no parking at all. I spent far too much of my time, and far too much money, trying to park my car.
This is a noisy old place with no amenities. You are paying a high premium to stay in a funky old building with character and a good pub.

I travelled for three weeks on the Island and this was my favorite lodging. I will definately come
Pros:

A lovely large room, with kitchen. Very spacious and clean. Comfortable king size bed. Downtown and close to shops and restaurants.

Cons:

I did not realize when booking that there is no parking at this hotel. You have to park in a parkade a couple of blocks away and pay. This was not too much of an issue for me as I returned my rental the next morning, but would have been pricier if parking several days in the parkade.
