Would not stay,again
Pros:

The location is fantastic. The room was delightfully quirky.

Cons:

Our room was right next to the pub which turned up the music so loud later in the night that we couldn’t sleep. In addition the noise from the upstairs room was disturbing.

Eine verblüffende Zeitreise.
Pros:

Das historische Zimmer mit den hohen Decken und der alten Ausstattung ist etwas ganz besonderes. Das Bett war sehr groß. Das hat uns gut gefallen.

Cons:

Es roch im Zimmer sehr merkwürdig. Ich habe den Teppich im Verdacht oder ein sehr penetrantes Reinigungsmittel.
Das Personal an der Rezeption schien durchweg eher mißmutig zu sein.

Pros:

very well located, central to everything we wanted, tour to Butchard Gardens, float plane, great restaurants.
should have asked re on one level, ours was 2 levels not good for us, but they have 1 level rooms, so beed to check if issue.

Top Lage mit coolem Pub
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage zwischen Hafen und Chinatown. Kurze Wege zu den meisten Spots der Stadt. Das Zimmer, eher Appartment war für 3 Personen ausreichend groß mit eigener Küche und Terasse. Nach Check-out konnten wir noch kostenftei unsere Koffer im Hotel deponieren. Auch der Pub im Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Durch die Lage war es auch etwas lauter. Das Zimmer hatte keine Fenster nach draussen. Auch die Terasse war innenleigend und von Taubenkot übersät.... Das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze. Dazu muß man die öffentlichen und sehr teuren Parkplätze nutzen.

Very central and well equipped rooms with helpful staff
Pros:

Excellent location, very central and right next to a pub. The room was quite dated but it was very spacious and clean and it was handy having the small kitchen. It was good value for the space and location.

Cons:

A few small issues arose while we were there, eg no ironing board in the room and the room keys mysteriously stopped working. But the staff were always very quick to successfully resolve these so it wouldn’t put us off staying again. You have to park in a public car park a bit of a walk away, although you can briefly park at the hotel to unload. If you happen to be there on a Sunday or bank holiday the car park is free which was an unexpected bonus for us.

Cons:

Parking challenges-once figured out it worked but took a lot more strategizing. Property is a bit aged, but having an apartment was nice. No air, so having fans was importantly.
