Pros:

The location was good for what I was there for. The breakfast food was not hot. It was just a little warm. The coffee was also just warm and the apple juice diluted with water added to it.

Cons:

The to be up and running and the food to a little hotter and the juice not too be watered down.

Pros:

The convenience of the location in reference to Norfolk General Hospital.

Cons:

I've stayed in a few Springhill Suites, this may have been the worst. The room was small, not that big a deal, but it wasn't clean. However the worst part was the shower. The hot and cold water did not work. It had two temperatures, scalding hot or ice cold. Luckily it was only booked for one night.

Staff, breakfast, and location were great.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. We were going to a concert at the Chartway Arena, which was right across the street. The staff was great. The room was quiet. There was a small kitchen-like area with a larger-than-usual hotel-sized refrigerator.

Cons:

I had booked a room with a king bed and a sofa sleeper. The bed was not a king. It was a full or queen-sized bed. The shower was weird. It was a walk-in, but the curtain didn't go down all the way. The grout was old and dingy.

Location would’ve been great
Pros:

I would’ve liked the location since I had tickets to a concert at the chartway arena, right next door…But 2 hours before I was to check in, my reservation was cancelled.

Cons:

I didn’t like that my reservation was cancelled 2 hours before my arrival and another reservation was booked for me. Saying it was a nearby hotel…25 minutes is not nearby, Springhill is nearby. Nobody in my party was able to get freshened up at the hotel room before the concert. We were all coming from 5-7 hours away. No explanation given. Despite my reservation have been made for months.

The hotel is located across from the ODU campus and has several places to eat that are walking distance. Plus it was a short drive to the fishing pier and beach.

Only thing we liked was the location!

Cons:

Pool was closed, we didn't even see a Hot Tub but its still shown in the listing pictures! Beds were not comfortable! Price was definitely super high for what we got!
