Pros:

Great suite for a family of 4, good breakfast , very clean, and nice pool area. We loved it there and it was only a 10 min drive to Legoland. Will definitely be back next time we come out here!

24-hour coffee station in the dining area. Dishes provided in the room. Breakfast was an option to add. Convenient parking. Snack shop

Cons:

Breakfast was not all inclusive (only pork meat options) when chicken and pork were options one day. The door suite door stuck and made a loud noise when opened/closed. Comfort of mattress on sofa.

Breakfast was good. A lot of choices but always the same except for meat

Cons:

Location. No cleaning included unless you requested. We requested once and got only new towels. They left the garbage.
During weekdays breakfast is too early: 6-9am. During weekends is 7-10am. 6-9am is too early when you are on vacation.

Alexis at the front desk made our family’s stay absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, welcomed, and truly taken care of. Our entire team was so grateful for how accommodating and supportive she was, especially with youth athletes in our group who were competing in a very important tournament.

Her kindness and hospitality made a real difference in our experience. We will absolutely stay at Homewood Suites North Carlsbad again—and specifically because of Alexis. She is truly an asset to the hotel and deserves recognition for the way she takes care of her guests!

Okay needs better service
Pros:

Great location, clean big room

Cons:

They charged me $60 for parking and we didn’t have a car. Friend dropped us off and picked us up in the back entrance in white GLE Mercedes
We got locked out of our room. Staff suggested our fault, after sometime maintenance came and had to change battery in door.

Great tournament hotel
Pros:

We were there for a soccer tournament and this was one of the tournament hotels. The location was great, loved the separate bedroom, also had a pull out sofa sleeper, laundry facilities , kitchen with microwave, stove top & full fridge. Our room had a shower but we heard some rooms had tubs. The atmosphere was friendly, had a fitness room, pool. The digital key was handy & breakfast was included daily. When the dining room was full, paper plates were provided- I enjoyed eating in the room also. We enjoyed being able to check in early after our red eye flight and we picked our room from the available ones. We had a great time/ would stay again.

Exceptional hospitality and service
Pros:

We just stayed here for almost a week for my daughter’s soccer team travel for a tournament. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well furnished. The best part of the experience was the staff. They were very welcoming and flexible with our large group, helping us to be comfortable and making this experience memorable for the girls. Mahalo!
