Pros:

Nice and friendly staff. Good location to port. Bed was comfortable.

Strong smell of smoking in hallway of rooms. Not many places near by for food to walk to. loose toliet seat

Cons:

Found two roaches, room reeked of cigarette odor, moldy shower curtain, hair strands in bed and in towel, weird rust stains throughout room, “breakfast” only consisted of packaged oatmeal and sugary snacks.

Pros:

Front desk was helpful and pleasant . I stayed at 3 different locations in my last trip. This hotel was the nicest. Clean comfortable and very spacious.

Cons:

My room smelled like egg. That smell.was very off-putting but I gather someone cooked eggs prior. That was my only problem here.

Comfortable Stay, But Inconsistent Guest Service
Pros:

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was clean, and there was plenty of space. Most of the staff members were pleasant and helpful during my stay.

Cons:

The staff overall was fine, except for one employee, Marcy. When I asked for a coffee cup one morning, she seemed irritated and briefly said, “I’ll bring them, bear with me,” while on the phone. She walked away and never returned. After waiting about five minutes, I gave up and went to Starbucks a few blocks away instead. What made this more frustrating was that coffee cups were unavailable 4 out of the 8 days I stayed there. It’s disappointing to offer complimentary coffee but repeatedly have no cups available. In addition, Marcy rarely acknowledged guests, smiled, or made eye contact during my stay, which did not create a welcoming atmosphere.

Close to the Port
Pros:

Close to the port, room was very clean, lots of restaurants nearby.

Cons:

While I understand mistakes happen, we did have one very uncomfortable situation. We were sound asleep, and around midnight we were awoken by what sounded like multiple women at our door trying to get in. We assumed they were at the wrong door and just didn't realize it. All of the sudden our door actually opened, thank God we had the emergency bar on, so it slammed to that and then stopped. I yelled they had the wrong room from my bed and they left. The hotel offered us 10% off our next visit as we checked out the next morning.

Not the best, not the worst. Yasmin was the star!
Pros:

The young lady who checked me in, Yasmin, was a delight. She was able to get me checked in quickly and made sure I knew where everything was before I headed up to my room.

Cons:

The room was adequate. The shower was broken but usable. The holder for the toilet paper was not mounted on the wall when I arrived so maintenance had to come repair it, but they didn’t even check the shower. I also wasn’t impressed that there were no towels in the room and I had to go to the front desk to get them.

Pros:

Madison is Great! She accommodated my every need with no issues. The hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly. This place is like a home away from home I definitely recommend this stay if your in the Fort Lauderdale area.
