Book a room with a view and enjoy a peaceful day in Aci Trezza
Pros:

The location was perfect for an overnight in Aci Trezza. We booked “the best room on the property” and it was so wonderful. The ocean was too rough for a boat tour, but the view from our room/bed was spectacular so we just enjoyed the place. Buffet breakfast was fantastic and the place was very clean.

Cons:

The shower water wouldn’t get hot, but I showered at 6:30pm so perhaps everyone was getting cleaned up for the evening then and there wasn’t enough hot to go around. It was freezing, but not hot.
And the Faraglioni restaurant had a special event and was full so we booked in at their 2nd restaurant but the service and food was 2 star at best.

It was fine
Pros:

Arrived on a Sunday and the whole area, where the hotel was, was a madhouse! No hotel parking, so you have to pay for street parking. Got a room with a sea view…but also a view of the party restaurant next door, that also comes with music that starts around 10 am and ends around midnight. I will say that on Monday, the crowds had dwindled…so maybe just crazy on the weekends. Ordered room service breakfast and 90% of it was wrong. They got the omlet right, but it was cold. Also got a napkin stained with lipstick. The room itself was nice…the shower dangerous. Very slippery. Hotel staff were doing their job, but really didn’t seem interested in interacting. The hotel itself is nice and the location is beautiful…but not the vibe I was hoping for. Maybe they are choosing not to, but felt that the hotel could have been more helpful to foreign visitors.

Hotel mit wunderbarem Panorama
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer und bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht, insbesondere von der Panoramaterrasse (mit Restaurant/Frühstücksraum) aus. Aber auch vom Schlafzimmer aus war das Meer mit den wunderschönen Zyklopeninseln zu sehen. Das Personal war mehrheitlich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Cons:

Der Balkon mit nur rund 1 m2 Fläche kann man wohl kaum als Balkon bezeichnen.
Keine eigenen Parkplätze. Im März war dies aber kein Problem, weil beim nahegelegenen Hafen genügend (teils auch kostenfreie) Parkplätze vorhanden waren. In der Hauptsaison wird es aber sicher problematischer.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole in questo albergo ad Aci Trezza. La struttura gode di una posizione privilegiata, con una vista panoramica semplicemente mozzafiato: svegliarsi ogni mattina ammirando il mare e i faraglioni è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile. Stanza vista mare di piccole dimensioni ma confortevole e con un piccolo balconcino.

Il punto di forza? Senza dubbio il personale, sempre cordiale, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza. Partendo da Andrea responsabile della colazione per arrivare a Salvo e Vincenzo responsabili del ristorante Canto delle Sirene sulla terrazza Itaca dove abbiamo cenato con prodotti ittici di altissima qualità accompagnati da ottimo servizio e carta dei vini.
Ci siamo sentiti accolti fin dal primo momento, come a casa grazie a Desiree.

La struttura mette a disposizione servizio di renting per auto e servizio di navetta aeroportuale, nota di merito per Totó.

Consiglio vivamente questo albergo a chiunque desideri rilassarsi in un ambiente suggestivo, con un servizio impeccabile e uno scenario naturale unico.

Nice place in Aci Trezza, they’ve done great work repairing after the cyclone.
Pros:

It was right on the coast, with a view of the Cyclops rocks, and the sea. There were two nice cafes at street level and upstairs.

Cons:

My issue was that there were mosquitoes, especially at night, and no screens on the windows to prevent them from coming in.
