York at its best!
Pros:

Great location, excellent Sunday lunch and breakfast,great friendly service at all times

Cons:

Bedroom had all green walls and very dark, perhaps one cream coloured wall would improve it.

Pros:

Would stay here again just for the helpfulness of the staff! My dad fell ill and they made sure he had everything he needed and was well taken care of. Excellent service!

What a great find! This hotel has a lot of history and loved hearing all of the stories from the people that worked there. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable / quiet rooms.

A quick 10 minute walk into the heart of old York Town to see the old town walls, cathedral and the Shambles.

Room was small but cosy and clean

The bar should stay open longer for guests
Would have liked a proper window in the room . Room had skylight only.

Won’t return due to rooms

Good location and nice helpful staff

Cons:

Mould on curtains, smell in rooms and very hot rooms where couldn’t sleep. Generally run down in hallways and rooms. Restaurant was pleasant.

Great location close to York centre and a lovely hotel.
Pros:

Staff very nice and accommodating. Very clean, nice touches in the room, shower roomy and hot and the pizzas are really tasty. Very close to York centre so ideal location.

Cons:

The app for ordering the food was very no user friendly

Cons:

The room was hot with only a sky light . Too hot even with air con .
Feel that the late parking fee of £10 was unnecessary as the time out was 2pm and the time for check in was 3pm .
Breakfast choice was restrictive .
