Convenient base for an activity-focussed break. It’s easily accessible and close to cycle routes to and from Perth and Dundee.
There’s a public bar and restaurant that pretty much serve food all day.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.

This isn’t really a hotel. It’s a pub and restaurant that offers accommodation.
Rooms aren’t serviced until you leave but reception staff are happy to supply anything you need. My room was a bit scruffy and tired but everything worked.
Breakfasts aren’t provided but you can order brunch from 10am at weekends. There is a cafe just up the road and a mini mart opposite.
The events in the bar and restaurant can be a bit noisy at times but they are all over by 11pm at latest.
The staff were great. They went the extra mile.
They provided public transport information and information about the hotel.

Nothing at all, only downside is its very poplar and if we dont book early we sometimes miss out x

Only one complaint! I came in at midnight desperate for a cuppa and there were no tea bags. By the time I realised I was in pyjamas and it was very busy down stairs… so I had a cup of hot water!😟
The staff were delightful. Kind and helpful. Nice pub. The area is beautiful. Lots of parking. Good menu in restaurant.
Room was really old. We were ina quad room for a family of 3 and it was old, tired, really run down. Cob webs and dust. Floors were sticky. Many things in the room were breaking or broke while we were staying. Seriously need to get some handyman and decorators in tomorrow improve the overall look and feel.
Very comfortable room, excellent food and wonderful hospitality.
Was a wee bit further out than anticipated however easy access to Dundee.
The dining facilities and the bar were nice
My room was in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom wasn’t very nice and the toilet seat was broken and the electric shower controls didn’t regulate very well .
Only problem restaurant and bar not open Monday and Tuesday
It was such a lovely friendly place to stay. Everyone was so helpful.
