Pros:

I’ve stayed here a few times as my son lives in the village. The bed in my room was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water to have baths, which was nice as the very old radiator was hit and miss in room 2.

Cons:

Just as I was falling asleep on my second night, water started to drip from a crack in the ceiling onto my head!!!
The receptionist gave me a bucket to catch the drips and called the owner, who came with a flash light and seemed to stop the leak! But it was all rather disconcerting! He said he’d see me at breakfast to sort some compensation- but they don’t do breakfast! There were no staff on site when I left on the Monday.
All in all, I will stay here again as I have no choice…but I’d probably avoid room 2 until the leak has been fixed!

Pros:

The bed was so comfortable, in a large room. Was very clean. The meal, served in the bar area was excellent- fresh, delicious and of a very high standard. The staff were all lovely.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike- would recommend heartily!!

Would not recommend or go back.
Pros:

No breakfast before 10 on a Saturday or Sunday but this is not on the website.
I and another couple had to leave by 10.

Cons:

My room was freezing but the owner sorted the bedroom heating on Sunday morning.
The towel rail in the bathroom did not work .
