Excellent Stay. Value for Money
Pros:

The staff were fantastic. Friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is basic but good.
The location was great for where I needed to be.
(With a car rental - nothing significant within walking distance)
Room was large enough for 2 - didn’t feel cramped at all
Hot water great, as was shower pressure
AC worked great
Parking was free
M&S food so well-stocked at the BP garage 1 minute down the road.

Very impressed at the provision in this hotel, much better than another well known chain!
Pros:

Everything! The room was spacious and clean, with tea, coffee and even an iron and ironing board! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was perfect with the shower being designed so you could actually sit down, without it looking like it was a seat! The best bit was the buffet breakfast which was downstairs, unlike another popular hotel chain, and even had a gluten free corner with a separate toaster and gf bread! The 11am checkout was great too. We were very impressed and will be looking to see if there is Holiday Inn Express available on all our UK trips from now on.

Cons:

It would have been perfect if the sausages had been gluten free too!

Great Hotel, great stay.
Pros:

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the air conditioning was fantastic, the room was clean and it probably had the best WiFi of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff sorted the one small issue we had immediately and couldnt do enough to help us. Excellent customer service.

Cons:

The glasses in the bathroom were dirty with a strange white residue at the bottom, and my quite expensive pint was badly poured.
The TV was also slanted and a tad small for the room.
