Fantastic stay
Pros:

Absolutely fantastic stay at Eastwood Hall. Lovely bright clean rooms. Good breakfast and very peaceful atmosphere. A lovely Morris minor event was occurring at the same time and was interesting to see all the cars in the car park

Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was excellent. Recommend the coffee!
Pros:

It was all good. Room was not really suitable for my wife. (unable to walk properly.) Changed immediately to a more suitable room without any difficulties.

Extreamly disappointing.
Pros:

Nice surroundings, very pleasant staff.

Cons:

Facilities. We booked expecting to be able to use the pool however the pool is restricted to adults only except for Sat and Sunday between 2pm to 5pm and even then the pool is divided off with very limited access for children. We were extremely disappointed with this as although it does state the restrictions in the overall description, we booked mainly on the information advertising the venue. At almost £400 for the three of us to stay there, we expected so much more. This was not only very annoying but uncalled for. If the times had been advertised better we would not have booked as this was one of the main reasons for choosing this venue. I believe the restrictions are deliberately not shown in the main display on the website as the venue know they would loose bookings.
The bathroom had mould between the tiles, and orange watermarks. The room had no air-conditioning only two small fans and the milk left for us to use had gone off.
Housekeeping only topped up the milk but no other items.
Breakfast was not great, overcooked food, pastries hard and dry, muffins were dry and the replenishment of the food on the servery was not timely causing waiting for items to be brought out leaving the food on the plate to cool.

Not worth the money
Pros:

The venue was lovely for a wedding and the outside courtyard seating area was nice.

Cons:

The rooms need fridges with bottled water at least most hotels have this.
The water machine was out of water a number of times so we couldn't even get cold fresh water.
The kids from the prom were stealing alcohol from our wedding party.
Prom kids running up and down corridors and clapping and being noisy at 2.30am.
And they were throwing up in toilets on the floor.
This spoilt our trip completely added to the fact they kept us awake being so noisy.
