Eastwood Hall

This is a huge hotel, with no air conditioning and everywhere was very hot. The fans we were supplied for our room only moved the hot air around. I know the heatwave was not the hotels problem but, in this instance, if we had not already paid for our room, we would have looked for somewhere else which did have air conditioning.

The rooms and whole hotel is very clean and the free tea and coffee machines around the hotel were a nice touch.

The swimming pool is nice and very good for lane swimming. The jacuzzi not working for the whole 2 day we were there which was disappointing.

The breakfast had a good selection food but quite a lot of items ran out without being replenished which we then had to ask and wait for.

We would recommend and would stay again.

Stayed with a group of golfers in this comfortable hotel. Rooms spacious , modern and clean. Breakfast and other food good. Staff friendly and helpful. Ideally situated for some great golf courses

Stayed here with family. Spacious campus. Nice enough breakfast but nothing to write home about. Fruit ran out quickly and rarely replenished. Lots of nice areas to sit in the foyer and in the bar. Enjoyed an exercise class but pool packed out with local third agers who were very chatty when in the jacuzzi/steam room. There were a few business conferences in at the time of my visit. They seemed to get preferential treatment from hotel staff.

We stayed for 2 nights, both day and night here were amazing apart from the 2nd night me and my husband were enjoying a drink in the bar when all hell happened, there was some kind of event going on which turned into a mass brawl to no fault of the hotel, but there was a manager on duty that we were watching all night, his name was Danny and he was constantly out and about telling them off, and when the fight kicked off his first instinct was to protect his team and the other guests, my husband is a hotel manager himself and said to me that staff like that young man are very hard to find. We didn’t let this spoil our time away and would come back 100%

The spa was lovely and relaxing too!

Had a meal in the restaurant that was amazing however then had a meal as part of ball and OMG it was the worst thing I've ever had....the chef needs firing . Even the chocolate brownie was like concrete ....disgusting

we were on a 5 day trip with Crosskey's and given a disabled room which was easy on my wife in a wheelchair. lovely clean and tidy hotel and peaceful and quiet for a good nights sleep.
at breakfast time we were helped by Karen, who looked after us during our stay, helping my wife with whatever she wanted. Karen was brilliant at her job. very helpful and kind. the food at breakfast was well cooked
all staff we encountered were helpful to us in the morning and at dinner time, and nothing was any trouble, if we wanted to change the menu , they were good, Charlotte would help us a couple of times. as my wife is a fussy eater.
the rooms were big and the king size bed comfortable and cleaned every day and we were left milk and sugar and biscuits by the cleaning staff.
the drinks we had were a good price, and the food was well cooked. and well presented.
all in all we had a good time there , we never had time with our days out to enjoy the swimming pool or amenities.
its set in lovely countryside and ample parking for guests.
we were impressed by all helped us during our stary. thanks to all staff especially Karen .

It is a big, bright hotel. The breakfast variety was good! The facilities were good, the swimming pool was available. It was quiet at night and the room was dark.

Peaceful location and great facilities

We stayed at Eastwood Hall last night and I cannot praise the staff enough. When an awful situation arose due to a group of disrespectful guests, the team handled everything with incredible professionalism, calm, and speed. They prioritised our safety and comfort above all else and went above and beyond to make sure we felt looked after. It’s rare to see a team handle a difficult scenario so gracefully. Breakfast was ok.

Lovely courtyard for sun, parasol shade or blankets outside the restaurant/bar.
Lots of comfortable indoor areas.
Generous supply of refreshments for conferences
Air con and big bright windows in biggest conference room

Booked this last minute after a disaster with another booking elsewhere. Staff were super friendly and helpful to get me a room sorted. The grounds of the property are stunning. The location is very peaceful and quiet. Lots of parking on site. The swimming and sauna were a great addition, again a little tired but ideal for unwinding after work.
