Dissappointed
Pros:

Location was lovely

Cons:

Booked a superior double room and all the extras you would expect(bathrobe, mini tuck shop) we're missing. Spoke to reception and got f9bbed of with a bag of popcorn and a couple of drink voucher. Complained to someone else and issue was rectified eventually. If your expecting a spa experience be prepared to be disappointed. Pool is very small, and tiles missing of the walls, jacuzzi didn't work. Gymnasium half of the equipment needs servicing as either out of order, broken or poor quality.
Room was clean and big enough although some of the public areas were dirty(Changing rooms corridors).

Comfy bed

Cons:

Old, dirty building and very tired and outdated. Pretty sure they had glass in the pool which cut my daughter's foot but they weren't interested. Rooms were not soundproof, the walk to the room took ages and the hallway was full of mosquitos. Too expensive for what it is, barely Travelodge standards.

Excellent food and customer service!
Pros:

Staff - cannot fault them. Everyone was friendly, polite, helpful and cheery.

Emily, Alicia, and Cam on reception were lovely.

Helen was incredible.
Scott very helpful.
Becca P - fantastic.

Beth - who ensured we were looked after when my husband was taken ill (not food or drink related).

Food was just delicious and all plates cleaned! Utterly scrummy and beautifully presented.
It exceeded our expectations.

The function room - Oak Suite was spotlessly clean and perfect for our AGM and then the celebrations in the evening.

Location - ideal for all attendees due to road and rail links to Northampton. Beautiful rural setting.

Cons:

Very limited areas for guests to sit on the Sunday as there was a Wedding Fayre which took over the entire bar area and all indoor seating.

Pleasant stay in good location
Pros:

Good location for our purpose. Good, plentiful breakfast. Excellent soundproofing - we couldn’t hear a particularly loud event in the hotel.

Cons:

The hotel was a bit tired in places and our room was not ready on arrival - we had to wait approx 45 mins. Very dark walk to and from the car park at night.
