Anniversary Weekend Above Expectations.
Pros:

Room was spacious and comfortable, great view of Arch and River. Spa was very good, as well as restaurant. All staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Well we will be back next August 2027. We liked it thatcwel. Location was perfect for us.

It was lovely, clean so many nice staff. The people that stay there are all super friendly. Housekeeping was so comforting.

WORST four seasons I've ever been at (I've been at over 100)
Pros:

Very racist staff. The front desk lady is cool, and the security is very nice. Everyone else, especially the manager, Tatiana & Lauren are absolutely deplorable, racist, and very rude. These people do not deserve your money, and don't care whether you spend thousands, they'll still treat you like a piece of sh!t on the floor. Insanely sickening. They deserve to get fired, and kicked out of St. Louis.

Worst Hotel experience
Pros:

Worst experience ive had at a four seasons. This is not a luxury property at all. They have rude customers service, inexperienced security and worst of all the restaurant. Worst restaurant i have ever been too. GM needs to do something about Tatiana Suero & Lauren Heebner

Staff is what makes this place so amazing with their kindness and how accommodating they were.
Pros:

The staff was the highlight of our stay. So kind, accommodating and understanding to our situation. We had to bring our dog with us last minute and she has some issues. They let us use the service elevator to be able to take her outside which was so extremely helpful.

Cons:

The elevator situation is not great with having to hop onto another elevator from lobby to get to your room. Also, the Casino is so depressing and not a fan of it being so close to the hotel. I also didn't love the locale.

Not the best 4 Seasons... just ok
Pros:

I usually like to just be positive so I will start with housekeeping does a great job- rooms are kept very clean. Bed is very comfortable. Gym is great! Uh... nice people work there. Food is just ok at Gordon Ramsey nothing at all to write up. I just don't have much else to say. I feel bad for downtown St. Louis and when you see the view from the gym you will understand why or the drive in and looking on the side of the freeway. Plus the hotel is attached to a casino and it is not fancy by any means. We also did not feel safe at all walking back to the hotel after the Cardinals game (order Uber). This isn't the hotel's fault by any means. Honestly, if I went to a Cardinals game again I would stay at the Ritz in Clayton as apparently that is a much nicer area.

Destination Worth Visiting, Even If You're Just Passing Through
Pros:

We were in St. Louis for a sports tournament, but the Four Seasons ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. This hotel is truly a destination in and of itself.

The pool and outdoor deck were fantastic, with incredible views of the Gateway Arch. It was the perfect place to relax after long days at the fields. Our room was spacious, and we really appreciated the complimentary upgrade to an Arch View room—the view was absolutely worth it.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every person we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.

And don't miss Ramsay's Kitchen! The food was outstanding and easily one of the best meals we had during our visit.

Whether you're in St. Louis for business, sports, or sightseeing, I highly recommend staying here. We came for the tournament but would gladly return just for the hotel.

One of the best Four Seasons
Pros:

We have stayed in Four Seasons hotels from Budapest to Tokyo -indeed our wedding reception was in a Four Seasons. This is one of the best. The room itself was among the best of any hotel in which we have stayed- if not the best. The location is excellent. Great activities and amenities. The staff is among the best with one exception, the concierge, who did not seem to know much about anything. Conversely, MaryFaye Dodson and Tatiana Suero are a credit not just to this hotel but to the Four Seasons chain. We will definitely stay there again.

Nice room, questionable neighborhood
Pros:

I stayed at the Four Seasons St Louis for two nights in June 2026. The hotel has the usual Four Seasons army of people opening doors and trying to handle your luggage for you. It was exceedingly hot on the day I arrived and the valets were also pushing cold wet towels on the guests waiting to check in (though I didn't see anyone actually take one). A shame one of the valets couldn't run the front desk as a queue formed while the solo person on duty handled arriving guests. The ground floor lobby is home to the check in desk and concierge and way too much air freshener/fragrance but little else. Elevators take you up to the other common floors (6/7/8) where the meeting rooms and amenities are located and where you transfer to a different elevator bank to access the rooms.

I was upgrade to a suite with a separate living room area and half bath along with a full bedroom, walk in closet and massive bathroom as well as a view of the Gateway Arch. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the L'occitane bathroom products.

The hotel is bound on the east side by the Mississippi River, on the west by an elevated freeway, on the north by vacant overgrown lots and on the south by a casino. Aside from the casino, there's really nothing in walking distance so if you didn't drive yourself you can count on lots of Uber rides.
