Great stay for the family
Pros:

Property was very nice and spa was great!

Cons:

Rooms could have been a little more updated/upgraded but we understand it is a castle so there is limitations on what can be done

Mr OShea in the evening was very knowledgeable about the castle/history/etc. very nice person, Staff was very nice

Pros:

staff and the new spa facilities

Cons:

in a 5 star hotel you don’t expect to pay extra for use of the thermal suite - it does feel more like an excellent 4 star than a 5 star overall- the afternoon tea was very small

Castle was nice - restaurant staff were great. Extra large room.

Cons:

The shower door glass didn’t go all the way to the floor so water goes all over the bathroom floor which I cleaned up every morning. Bad design. Also the bathroom mirrors need more light!

Exceptional stay! Thank you, Lough Eske Castle, for the memories we’ll treasure forever.
Pros:

Everything! Meals were delicious beginning with breakfast having a huge spread and dinner with plenty of choices. Rooms were beautiful, clean, spacious and quiet. Entertainment at the The Father Browne Bar was enjoyable. All the Staff were friendly from check-in to waiters to housekeeping.

3rd time here last time here.
Cons:

Courtyard room is a let down, its falling apart steep stairs to climb, alot of money for this room, way over priced. Food was a let down again. Also room was ready but reception never notified us. Fathe4 browne open. Breakfast is awesome tho.

Would love to stay again.
Pros:

We had a great check-in, with bags being taken to our room (very nice). Breakfast was first class. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and classy. Loved staying in a castle.
