Just returned from a 2 night stay in this lovely hotel,Staff were extremely polite and attentive and the location is fantastic for walking around as well as being in a quieter location away from the large tourist crowds.Dining experience was wonderful and Breakfasts were great.Highly recommended for Adults.
Beautiful setting
Very disappointing experience for a 5-star hotel, especially during our 30th wedding anniversary stay.
Concierge communication was extremely slow and unclear despite multiple advance emails requesting help with anniversary planning. We asked for assistance arranging a gondola, photographer, and dinner, but nothing was properly arranged or communicated. The hotel made no special effort to make our milestone anniversary memorable.
The Meet & Greet service was also useless. The person did not come to our train coach, did not help with luggage, and essentially only held a placard with my name. It was not worth the €170 fee.
We also had a room maintenance issue with water leakage caused by AC condensation. Additionally, the Grand Canal location creates an expectation of a special canal-view experience, but our room did not match that perception.
The only positive part was dinner service at Antinoo’s. The restaurant team was very good and made the evening feel special.
Overall, Sina Centurion Palace fell far short of a true 5-star experience, especially for such an important occasion.
A stunning property in a fantastic location. The views across the Grand Canal and Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute are truly spectacular and create a memorable Venetian experience. The hotel has a luxurious atmosphere, beautiful grounds and common areas, and an exclusive, premium feel throughout. Its location in Dorsoduro is ideal for exploring Venice while enjoying a quieter and more refined setting away from the busiest areas.
The service was professional and efficient, though a slightly warmer and more personal touch would have enhanced the experience further.
Location
They supposedly upgraded us to a deluxe suite which happens to be on two levels with a tiresome stairs. The cupboard is downstairs and the bathroom upstairs it was vey uncomfortable and I think my original choice was better and they probably gave it to someone else
They added a tip of 500 euros to the invoice and said that the computer does this automatically but that I could decline, which is very embarrassing and unprofessional. I declined
For a hotel of this caliber they forgot twice to put water in the room
The breakfast is of poor quality considering it’s a five stars at 2000 euros a night and the first day the eggs in the omelette gave my wife a diarrhea something that does not usually happen to her
Chambre petite mais jolie. Excellente literie.
If you get a room with a view you can watch all the boats plough up and down the Grand Canal, it's wonderful. Staying in Venice means you get to see and explore Venice with no crowds in the morning and night. The room we had was excellent, we stayed here before. The hotel is in the best location. It is just a vaporetti stop away from Basilica San Marco. It in a quieter neighborhood of Venice with art stores to explore. It's a beautiful well appointed hotel. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was included, it can be better.
This is an elegant, beautiful property with excellent, efficient service and very personable and friendly staff. The spacious 2-story suites with floor-to-ceiling windows have nice amenities and cozy bedding. However, the configuration is a bit difficult to navigate, as the bedroom is on the top floor and the bathroom on the bottom floor. This means several trips down the stairs during the night for most people, and potentially dangerous, especially for those with mobility issues.
Super lokalizacja, wspaniała obsługa, czysto i dobre śniadania
Pokoje do delikatnego odświeżania
We have spent three wonderful nights at this 5 star hotel. It’s situated on the grand canal with its own jetty for water taxis. We arrived by a pre booked shared water taxi which was excellent value and we felt so special to arrive at the private jetty. The staff were attentive and polite. Our room was serviced twice daily. Breakfast was excellent, again the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food choice was impressive. On checkout we were invited to pay a discretionary service charge of 100 euros for our 3 nights. We had seen complaints about this previously on trip advisor so we did expect it. We opted to pay a slightly smaller amount as we had not used the bar or restaurant and coming from the UK this is not normal to have to pay this. Getting a water taxi back to the airport proved a little challenging so we opted to take a short walk to Zaterrre to pick up the twice hourly Alilaguna airport boat at 36 euros for the two of us.
