The location of the hotel was great. A lot of things (restaurants, stores) close by.
Price was a bit high for a Sunday to Monday stay.
Breakfast
Extreme confusion and poor customer service. I initially called to ask if I could cancel for free because my child was sick, but the hotel refused. Since cancellation wasn’t an option, I decided to keep the reservation and stay anyway—only to find out they had cancelled my booking without telling me. To make matters worse, the phone staff was rude and unhelpful throughout the entire process.
Worst Marriott every stayed at
Shower wall was cracked & swelled out was going to burst thru if you turn water on. Shower head was clogged with calcium. Black mold inside & outside shower. Bugs on wall above bed, mattress uncomfortable, air conditioner didn't keep temperature.
Small outdoor terrace with access to the pool. Walking distance to food options.
Clearness and high qualily customer servicea
Our king suite was large & comfortable. The bathrooms were updated and modern. I enjoyed the large sofa quite a bit, and the workspace is a nice touch even for tourists. The breakfast was a nice combo of hot & cold foods. I had the cereal, but I'm sure the oatmeal, eggs etc were good. The hotel was close to the local Trader Joe's, which is a plus. Also the Kurver Kreme, which we did not get to.
This is not a complaint, but more local folklore. The fourth floor room was very quiet. You can't hear airplanes from the nearby airport. But a few times, there were three sharp air blasts & we didn't know why. Local residents whom we were with said this is to call local volunteer fire departments. It's an old tradition that they don't want to let go of. Again, not a complaint but more "what is that?"
The staff are very friendly and helpful, felt very welcomed and homely.

The room A/C was broken during our mid-July stay. It was set to heat at 78 degrees when we arrived around 8:00 pm. When we switched it to cool the room began filling with a horrible moldy/mildew odor. We finally called the front desk and they had a mantainence person take a look. The manager was excellent and quickly switched us to a different room that was cool and smelled cleaned. The lobby breakfast area was also very hot in the morning. It was much cooler outside!
