When I arrived the valet park my car which is $33 per night. Also help me with my luggage into the hotel I had a second floor room very pretty very clean with a street view. The room was clean fresh. Starbucks is located in the basement of the hotel. They have the vault Restaurant on the lobby level. The rooftop has a bar and refreshments small bites. On the weekends Main Street has a farmers market with lots of vendors which was one of my major highlights of my stay.
Clean and most of the team was helpful, nice and accommodating
Older property the walls are so thin you can literally hear people walking. We were right at the ice machine and all night and morning it felt like walls were crashing in. It was so loud we did not sleep at all! The Starbucks in the hotel shutdown early because they were ready to go even though they did not close until 6pm which was unfortunate. Went to get something hit made and the girl said, my manager already turned off the oven.
Fantastic staff! Very underrated hotel right in the middle of a reviving downtown Columbia.
We enjoyed everything about our stay
Room 907 was a nice room with such a marvelous view. However, the air conditioning did not function well. It was cool in the hallways but the room was rather warm even after adjusting the thermostat. Also, the roof top as well as the vault closes early limiting things to do close by.
great location, clean rooms the noise of traffic is a bit much but not as bad as some other stays at the same hotel. a bit steep in price for the valet.
Loved Columbia Sheraton, Property was very nice, Ransleigh at check in was so friendly and helpful. Great Location. Any future trips to Columbia will definitely be at the Sheraton!
My husband and I just went for a quick weekend trip. We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown, so step outside to many restaurants and downtown attractions. There was a Saturday morning market that was great. We had a one bedroom suite and it was really nice. Plenty of space for my husband and I. Check in went smooth and ee had no issues with valet. I even had a drink from the martini bar (The Vault) in the lobby and it was good. Would definitely visit this location again.
Classy, quiet and charming hotel when staying in Columbia. Smartly appointed spacious rooms & bathrooms with large windows and good lighting. Excellent and quiet temperature controls in rooms, and NOT humid. Warm and lovely staff all excellently trained!! Spotlessly clean and tidy throughout, Good quick elevators. Superb location on a pretty street for walking surrounded by trendy restaurants & shops and 1 block from the State House. Convenient Starbucks downstairs that looks and feels like a nice pub rather than the typical commercial- style Starbucks.
The location is perfect if you like having everything you need within walking distance in a modern downtown setting. I was able to use my phone as a key to go directly to my room when I arrived, and enjoyed the classic atmosphere of the hotel. The Junior Suite was very comfortable with several large windows and plenty of light. The shower was the biggest one I've ever seen in a hotel. The cost for the value is reasonable, especially if you go when it's off-season. A fully operating Starbucks with a spacious lounge in the lower lobby is a bonus. I plan to stay here again. Thank you!
Amazing experience! Everything was clean and the staff were so nice. They went above and beyond to make my stay special.
Overall, we had a great stay at the Sheraton Downtown Columbia. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and this was our second time staying here.
When we first checked into our room, it was very warm because the air conditioning had been turned off, which was a little surprising for June. Fortunately, the room cooled down fairly quickly and wasn’t an issue for long.
To end the evening, we visited the rooftop bar for a nightcap. The bartender, Christina, was wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great suggestions. She recommended a delicious lemon cake dessert that was absolutely worth trying.
The only downside to our stay was that there was no hot water in the shower. Aside from that inconvenience, we enjoyed our visit and found the hotel to be very comfortable. We would gladly stay again.
Overall a nice hotel with a lot of charm. It’s a little dated and can use some minor refurbishment. The staff is super friendly. Concierge lounge is good and always open. My only concern was that my door was loose and although it would close, it would loose and could easily be forced open. I asked them to fix it. Although it was fixed, it really wasn’t.
