It was nice to stay across from the beach but we were disappointed with some services.
Pros:

The breakfast at the Wharfside Cafe was excellent. We enjoyed eating there. We enjoyed the balcony from our oceanfront room and the location to the beach was very convenient.

Cons:

We didn't like that people were smoking on the balconies. We prefer hotels with no smoking. We were disappointed that the Breakers restaurant wasn't open. We enjoyed eating dinner there last summer , and it was one reason why we wanted to stay at the hotel. There were not enough valet attendants especially at checkout time. The wait time was very long.

It was a wonderful, peaceful getaway.
Pros:

Location was great . Unfortunately the restaurants at the hotel were not open on the days we were there. Beach was across the street and our view from our room especially the sunrise was beautiful. We really enjoyed the sand sculpting event that was taking place.

Cons:

Wish the restaurants were open but we stayed a week or so too early. They were only open on weekends. Have to return as the restaurants have very good reviews.

Great location. We loved the outdoor bar area. Convenient valet parking

Cons:

Long check-in, dirty laundry in a stack in the hallway for a long period of time. Stairway was dirty. It came across that they didn’t have enough workers to get the place cleaned.

Rooftop bar closes to early. Restaurant inside being closed if weather is good. Nobody responds to emails and phone never gets answered and voice mail box is full.

I like the location of the hotel in general. It is clean and quiet as it can be even in summer. Room looked newly renovated and was really nice.

Cons:

I would like if they say partial ocean view they would show the actual view from photos of the rooms that are avail. Also I would have booked the suite but I think there should be one with two regular beds instead of sofa bed. Only reason I didn’t take it was because sofa beds aren’t good for older people with back issues.

Son had a reaction to the chemicals....restaurant waitress not knowing what to do inexperienced....limited menu...not like it use to be...... got charged twice for resort fee and parking...says I will be refunded......

Location was great and cleanliness of the rooms was great.

Cons:

Staff really wasn’t to friendly at the front desk for my check in or check out. I was never even asked how my stay was at check out. A little more emphasis on customer service would of been nice.
