Serious patient safety failures, medication errors, and ignored diet requirements reveal major health and safety gaps.

Our stay revealed clear shortcomings in patient safety and basic care standards.
Most concerning, my wife developed a bacterial infection after a treatment performed without prior diagnostic assessment, requiring antibiotic treatment and with ongoing health impact.
There were also medication instruction errors, and a medically required diet (due to gastritis) was repeatedly not followed. In addition, we observed multiple safety and hygiene issues across the property. The condition of treatment rooms and sanitary facilities did not meet the hygiene standards expected of an NABH-accredited clinic.
Overall, these issues point to significant gaps in safety and health management. In our view, the resort would not pass a comprehensive 360-degree ESG evaluation. With corrective action, a rating of around 7.4/10 might be achievable, but this level was not met during our stay.
We raised these concerns on-site but did not receive an adequate response.

Der gesamte Aufenthalt war sehr gut.
Pros:

Alles war sehr gut, das Essen Vegetarisch (Ayurveda), die Therapie, die Anlage und das Zimmer.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer Hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Die Katholische Kirche daneben war viel zu laut, die Gebeten waren viel zu laut, mit Lautsprecher, Teilweise sehr lang und auch früh am Morgen.
Dazu wird der Hafen daneben umgebaut, auch in der Nacht und ist auch zu laut.

Bra behandlingar. Bra och varierad mat (i alla fall för en vecka). Fina poolområden. Positivt att kunna nyttja de tre olika hotellen.

Cons:

Vi fick inte den stugan vi hade bokat. Fullbokat sa de, trots vi hade bokat för 8 månader sedan. Dåligt!

Disappointed with the property and food options. Booking.com should look into as they are not responisve on its website

Property looks better on pics. So called therapies are charged in Euros but are below standards. An hour long therapy last only 40 minutes and therapists are constantly talking with each other which is not a very relaxing atmosphere.

Cons:

So when I booked for cottages, I immediately messaged the property about its suitability for elderlies. Idea was that in case its not suitable, I should be able to cancel it within the cancellable period. However, never heard back from them. Then I called and requested for the same, they assured that we need not worry and we will be looked after. But once we reached there, they changed the property itself to Ayursoma without any consultation with us and allotted us some normal pool facing rooms instead of Garden/Sea view that too on first floor and initially out of the 2 rooms, only one had pool room and the other room’s balcony was completely blocked by a wall. After raising the issue, they allotted me the other room which was 3 rooms apart and was highly inconvenient. Later when I checked the cottage rooms, they are not conducive for elderlies and I had to compromise with substandard rooms. Therapy consultation ans therapy itself is a sham and are meant to fool the westerners. Regarding the food, they proclaim that they have extensive 280 options but when you order they will keep making excuses and will be able to provide something which they prepare for the buffet and that only till 10 PM. The only highlight perhaps is that its clean but otherwise its a sham for the price of 5 star property.

This is not a hotel or a resort, but an Ayurvedic hospital. If you are expecting a regular hotel or resort experience, this is definitely not the right place. The overall experience had nothing to do with hotel hospitality. For two to three days during the Christmas period, there was constant noise from the surrounding area, making it very difficult to sleep, and the manager was not helpful at all or willing to assist with the problems we faced. The menu is very limited and strictly Ayurvedic, which was not clearly communicated in advance. Additionally, the location is very isolated compared to Kovalam, making transportation quite difficult, especially since the property did not allow other taxis to approach and only permitted transportation arranged by the hotel itself. Overall, in my opinion, this property should not be listed on Booking.

Der Aufenthalt in zusammenhang mit dem Ayurveda Programm war sehr schön. Wir haben es genossen.

Das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal. Die ruhige und erholsame Atmosphäre.

Cons:

Vor unserer Unterkunft hatten wir keine Bäume und bekamen auf Anfrage auch keinen Sonnenschirm.

Sono 3 strutture fantastiche da poter usufruire come servizi. I massaggi i trattamenti yoga e meditazione e pasti ayurve

Non ho dato il massimo alla struttura solo x un motivo relativo al problema di pagamento che è accaduto il 2 dicembre.la struttura si è presa direttamente sulla carta di credito senza essere avvertita 550 euro il motivo risorsa una seconda prenotazione effettuata per una correzione avvenuta sul cognome eseguita dopo aver effettuato il pagamento totale.un errore madornale che ci ha causato stress. Seppur palese e chiaro l’errore i soldi ci sono stati restituiti dopo vari solleciti e solo dopo aver insistito e scritto ufficialmente chiedendo su quali basi si erano presi i soldi chiedendo supporto anche a Booking.di fronte ad un errore così ci si aspetta professionalità e soprattutto in attenzione verso il cliente che deve essere preso in considerazione e supportato.per il resto la struttura è fantastica in realtà ne sono 3 e collegate tra di loro anche con taxi a disposizione tutte e tre fantastiche possono essere usate le 3 piscine e i 3 ristoranti i trattamenti e i dottori sono professionali e molto gentili e attenti al paziente così anche gli istruttori di yoga e meditazione un grazie speciale va all consulente Cristina

Ausgezeichnetes authentisches Ayurveda
Pros:

Das Ayurveda war unglaublich authentisch und gut. Sie nehmen sich genug Zeit für alle Personen, auch wenn man nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt macht. Das Yoga war toll. Alle Therapeuten und Dr. hatten viel Fachwissen und eine grosse Kompetenz. Ich fühlte mich nach einem kurzen Aufenthalt von 4 Tagen schon wie neugeboren.
Eine sehr schöne Anlage und ein wunderschönes Zimmer. Sehr sauber.

Cons:

Eher hartes Bett. Eher wenig Areale, die bedeckt sind, falls es regnet.
